This is so weird - My family started planning our trip back in July and it's finally almost here (we're leaving on Friday). In August, I found out I would be working for a new teacher this school year. I am a special ed preschool aide and our old teacher announced that she was leaving. So then I found out my new teacher lived in Florida until 2 years ago and her adult kids still live there. She decided to go to Tampa for the winter break and stay with her daughter and they're planning on spending a day at Animal Kingdom. So the weird part is that they might be in AK the same day as us! :goodvibes

I didn't even know this lady when I planned my trip. We've been working together for several months and now we might be in the same place on the same day during our vacation. Of all the places to go in this country, we might meet up at WDW! We decided we'd have to do a few things together if we end up there on the same day. It depends on her daughter's days off from work that week. So, as I said, it's a small world afterall...everyone sing!

It's A Small World, after all. It's A Small World, after all. It's A Small World, after all. It's A Small, Small World. :rotfl:

I can't sing. Well, you wouldn't want to hear it. :rotfl: That is really funny though. One time we were headed to WDW and I knew our neighbors were going although I thought they were going the following month. I found out a few days before we left that they were going to be overlaping our trip by a few days. We were able to spend about a half a day in MK with them. That just seemed really weird but fun. This year in Aug. we went just before school started. When DS came home first day of school he said a girl in his class had been there at the same time. He didn't know this girl before because this is his first year of middle school and she went to a different elementary. Now she is his "girlfriend". Way to go DS. She could be a keeper. He said she is a Disney freak too. :goodvibes

and getting even smaller: I worked with a gal for a few years, then she moved to Ohio. Fast forward 3 years later, I'm cruising around MK and nearly knock her over next to The Mad Teacup Ride.
What are the odds?? :goodvibes

Luv bunnies: I hope you and your co-worker are able to connect...it will make for some extra special memories to share with your students when you return. Remember...take lots of pictures!! :cool1:

That's so funny!

My best friend and I are teachers and worked together a few years ago. We saw some of our kids inside the Buzz Lightyear ride while we were all waiting to get on during Spring Break one year! Talk about a Small World!
