It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

Each time you do an update I want more, more, more!!! Can you just do the whole thing at once?

Can you tell I don't do well with delayed gratification?

It's so neat that DH is so into the trip, and the OP is quite correct...you two are just the cutest! :love2: You said you were having hair problems, but I think it looks great in these pics.

Thank you so much! Thanks for joining in! Like I said before, DH was really worried but we had a great time.
The turnstiles at some of the older rides were the bigger problem (haunted mansion, the train and it's a small world). But on some of them, he was able to either go sideways or ask to go in the handicapped entrance and the CM's are very discreet so it's nice. :goodvibes

I have to use the handicapped entrance if the turn stills are narrow due to a medical device I have implanted in my hip and it can be quite sensitive.
Now on with the show I've got my snacks all ready :cake: :drinking1 popcorn::

Woo hoo! I love LL updates!!!

You have some primo photos in this group!!! There are several I would like to use as backgrounds on the computer!!!

I want to be at the Magic Kingdom RIGHT NOW!!!

I'm going to go back and quote the photos I like the best!

:lmao: You crack me up. You forget that I am not going to Disney until late 2010, I need to drag out this puppy so I can enjoy my Disney time. I don't want Disney Depression to take over my life. :rotfl2:
Thanks for saying we are cute. :goodvibes DH actually sat and read what I have written so far tonight. He says I am being accurate in my portrayel of his thoughts. :rotfl:

Then you don't even have to worry about the turnstiles! I might be persuaded to post some more pictures of my Main Street March on this first day if everyone wants to see them.

Why, thank you! Writing a TR is good for a gal's self esteem. :lmao:
You made me feel all warm and fuzzy since you said you wanted to use my photos as a computer background. I feel like I have accomplished something. :rotfl2: I really had so much fun taking pictures on our trip. I also love showing them off.

I love all your pictures!!!!! I have to admit that I just stole the Mickey head pumpkin for my laptop desktop back ground. The pics of you and your DH in your ponchos are very cute. You look happy even in the rain. Quick question for you. I am considering pre-ordering the cd did you get a lot of pics? Did you have to ask the photographers to take more than one view and pose in diffrent places? Were they okay with that? I am still really enjoying your TR. :goodvibes Sorry for all the questions. :)

With all the edits I made, adding the logos and such, we had a total of 171 pictures. I think we had over 100 before I did the edits. The photopass photographers always take more than one picture and they usually pose you different ways. They were all really nice. I think it's worth pre-ordering the cd so you can save that bit of money. We didn't even hit up every single photopass photographer we saw either. Sometimes we were just too busy headed to the next thing or didn't feel like it, you know? My one piece of advice would be to take multiple photos in the same area if something is important to you. For instance, I really wanted photos of the castle lit up, so we did those a few different times so we had plenty to choose from. That way we had did photographers and different spots around the castle. I hope this helps! :thumbsup2

OMG, I'm just on :cloud9: looking at these pictures. I love Disney pics of buildings and signs! Strange, I know. Maybe because I haven't been yet? Going back to look at them closer! :magnify: :hyper: Thanks!

I also swiped one of your first pics for my background! Hope that's okay...

LL---SO love the pics on this update!!! I have SO many favorites---especially your thumbs up and your DH's picture with Casey. I love all the fall decorations, but loved the ones you just posted of the Halloween themed bronze statues of Minnie and Goofy!!! That was an extra special sweet treat!!! THANKS!!!! Isn't that place just beautiful!!! I wish I lived in a town like that!!! ;o) Thanks so much for sharing----I bet you got to take a few more pics, and then DH dragged you into the restaurant as you continued to snap away!!!!! ;o) That is my guess!!!

Aren't they glorious? I wished I had gotten more pictures of the windows. I love that they represent people that worked for the Disney Company. How awesome.
Are you kidding me? It's perfectally fine! I feel honored that someone would use my picture as a background!

I was pleasantly suprised at the fall decorations. I was a little worried that the decorations would "ruin" Main Street for me but they didn't. They just added to the magic. I loved those statues! So cute. The details are just amazing!

We were there in September 2006, and I know that they did not have Main Street that elaborately decorated for the fall/Halloween decorations. They have MAJORLY added more to their usual stuff, but I liked this year's decor SO much better!!!! I completely concur about the weather throwing you off when seeing seasonal decorations there---when we were there in November last year, it was so HOT---we were constantly dripping with sweat---so it was a little difficult to get into all the Christmas decor---threw us off just a little!!! And to think we went to get in the holiday spirit EVEN MORE!!! Oh well---we still had a great time!

After seeing the fall decorations, I am even more excited to go at Christmas time. I am hoping that if we wait until 2010, we might be able to do a really extravagent 9 or 10 day trip. :thumbsup2

I think that is a GREAT plan!!!! There is no other Christmas display that could even come close to everything WDW does at Christmas time---even all the hotels are so well done!!!! The new way they do the castle is breathtaking---draping all the lights on it!!! Last year was the first year for that, but I am pretty sure they will continue that.

Do you guys think you will shoot for WL again, or maybe try to do BWV for that trip????

I actually saw lights draped on the castle and they looked like icicle lights, not the lights that they "project" on the castle at night, if you know what I mean. I got really excited thinking it was something super special for MNSSHP but not so much. I wonder if they keep the Christmas lights draped on the castle year round...?? You could only see them when you were right up next to the castle.
DH really loved WL. I think he leans towards that, he really liked the boat to MK and as that is where we ended up spending most of our time that would be really convienent. Me...I would really like to try somewhere else but then on the other hand, I know I will have a relaxing time at WL. So it's hard for me to make up my mind. I still really want to try Riverside too someday. I don't know, there is just something about it that I adore. Well from the pictures I have seen online. :lmao:
Before I met DH, I had a tentative trip planned to go in December and stay at Boardwalk but then I met DH and all my money was spent driving from ME to MA all the time. Oh well, he was worth it. ;)
I figure we have until the 2010 packages are released next August. I know that if we are going in December, I want to be able to book as soon as I can!

I guess they do leave those lights up!!! Huh!

Did you feel at WL that you ever had to wait long for the MK boat? Our hope is to stay WL for one of our future trips---Tom really likes the way it looks, etc. and said that he really wanted to stay there sometime. So we will see!!! MK is DEFINITELY the place we spend the most time, so it would be very convenient for us if the boat service is good!!! How were the buses to the other parks???

I think our longest wait was about 10 mins and I think that is an over estimate. We only took the bus to Epcot from there and that bus was just fine. We went later in the day but it came and we got there quickly, we did stop at Ft. Wilderness on the way. We were talking to someone in line and they said not to bother taking the bus to MK from WL because it's not consistent but we never tried so that is just what I heard. There is also a boat that goes to Ft. Wilderness and Contemporary so you could hook up with the monorail there. Kinda round about but it's an option.

Just a little FYI.....Disney had just started putting the lights Back-on the castle when LL got there. And the reason there were more Halloween decorations in early September is because this was the first year Disney had MNSSHP start that early in the month.
