It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

Neither of us have been on a cruise, so we are both excited. I am not sure if I am going to be a cruise person but I think that is because I have a hard time do a vacation that is NOT disney. It makes me weepy. :rotfl2:

:lmao:

You are going to have fun, and relax and everything is taken care of for you... :)

I am obsessing over flights. AirTran is having a sale until 6/12/08. I could get flight for the two of us for $442. I did pick seats for the two of us for $12 each flight, only because I want to sit next to him, he is anxious about flying and for $24 it's ease of mind. Ugh. I will have to talk to him about it. Have you gotten your flight for October?

Yeah for 18 days!!!! Time is really flying by isn't it? :cool1:

I've got to get back to work, but hope everyone is keeping cool!

We did! We went through a travel agency and despite my claims we are never doing it again, we got a decent deal for our flights... 225 a piece on Airtran. (He said we would be sitting together... I am holding him to that!)

We leave from Logan at 9:15 am on departure day and depart Orlando at 1:50ish on return to MA day. So not bad for the times we wanted...

Especially when we went to book our tickets to Indianapolis on Airtran and they were charging $325 for a flight with a 3 hour layover!

So that's about $450 all together? Am I reading that right? That's about the times we would depart and arrive. I am going to see what DF says tonight.

Yep... we bought it as part of the room & park ticket (and air) package.

Have you flown Airtran before? What do you think of it if you have?

I haven't. I have only flown Southwest as an adult which I liked but I really want to take advantage of the magical express luggage service. What resort are you staying at again?

Boardwalk Inn :goodvibes That was the one thing that DBF wanted say in... Other than one or two resturants.

Oooh. I have always wanted to stay there!! I have been looking at Boardwalk, Yacht and Beachclub. I am starting to research for Lapu Lapu Fabby Fest 2009! I am toying with the idea of doing a split stay again if this one works out. I've gotten really excited about experiencing two resorts in one trip. We probably won't do the dining plan either, so if we do a split we could at least do it for some of the stay and eat at some of the nicer establishments without having to shell out of pocket money.
Have you stayed at any Disney resorts before?

I stayed at off property the first time and Dixie Landings the other two times.

I would love to stay at AKL but I might try POR when I go for Lapu Lapu Fabby Fest 09.

You are going to love it.... I still remember the service to this day and it has been 14 years. :cool1:
Hehehehe! I am so excited. I just wandered over to the official Polynesian thread.................................................if my dreams come true that is where we will be staying!

Oh I'm SO happy some of your girls came through for you (and props to the cousin for letting you know how it really stands). While I'm glad you didn't have to foot your own bill, I don't know that it's right that MOH tried to act like the credit was due to her. Considering her relaxing day and all. Gr.

I LOVE the picture and the robe.
And about the monogramming. The bride for the wedding I was in gave us beautifully monogrammed bags as well as necklaces and my bag is done the same way. It's so the initial of the last name is most prominent.

Yay for 18 days!

BF and I were talking about Bermuda at some point over vacation and I told him that's where you were going on your honeymoon.

He calls all y'all my Disney board friends. :)

Oh...
and there might just be a package arriving at the LL residence in the next 2-3 business days via the postal carrier...
maybe...
I'm just sayin'.

;)

I can't freaking wait. :dance3:

Hurray for 18 days! :cool1:

And now, :offtopic:

LL, I recall reading on someone's thread that you were looking for the name of a song on Grey's Anatomy. Did you ever figure it out? (I'd intended to reply on whichever thread if it looked like you didn't get the answer, but then I had to do real work and forgot where I saw it.) Anyway, if you didn't, I think you might be thinking of "Keep Breathing" by Ingrid Michaelson. It's the song they played while Meredith was helping Christina take off the wedding gown after Burke left her at the altar. I cry during at least two episodes of Grey's each season, and that one had me bawling.

Okay, I said I was going to catch up on TK's thread tonight and I still have to eat dinner. TTFN!

I did it. Well, we did it. We bought our airfare to the happiest place on earth! :dance3:

Today at work, redsox721, who works with me, is as obsessed with Disney as am I, who I told about the DIS, told me that AirTran was having another sale today.

Of course, my obsessive compulsive behavior makes me check it out even though DF and I don't really have the money to spare before the Wedding. I can get flight for both us for the grand total of $442. That includes the $24 fee for choosing our seats, because being "pooh sized" we want to sit next to each other and get the most comfortable seats that we possibly can. The $24 is well worth peace of mind. Now, we just can't swing this right now and I am starting to freak over prices and all that great wonderful economic carp. :::Sigh:::

Then I notice this great little button that says, "Bill Me Later". Which I have used in the past. My mind starts racing....we could buy now, pay later, it's worked in the past, no payments until after the wedding, no interest if pay before 90 days...ooh ooh ooh. :hyper:

The only hitch is that LL doesn't have great credit at the moment. Eek! She is in a battle of wills with Cingular/AT&T whatever they are right now, they assured her she could make payments when she terminated her cell phone plan early and then after making 2 months of payments put it into collection and now LL is not paying it. Which is more damaging to me than them, but it's the point people. I was paying and they put into collection. They even had it noted on my account that BEFORE I canceled I would be paying specific payments so it would be paid off in 5 months. Urgh. I plan on paying after the Wedding but not a minute before. :furious: Rant over.

This leaves DF's credit, which I have diligently repaired from DF's pre LL days when he thought late & partial payments were okay. :faint: (Yes, LL has something in collection, but it's the principal of the matter! Ahem, shady business practice!)

I came home, argued with DF because he forgot to buy asparagus to go with our dinner tonight that I had requested, but HE remembered to buy HIS lemons and splenda so he could make HIS iced tea. This is the third time in a week that he has forgotten to buy something for us/me at the grocery store but comes home with a plethora of things that were not on the list. :furious: Rant over.

After the arguing, I showed him the dealio with AirTran. He said, try it. I did. It worked. We have airfare! :dance3:  :dance3:

The nice people at Bill Me Later.....will be billing us later! Which we will be paying off with our Wedding money. Thank you generous guests! Oooh that just sounds tacky. Bad LL. We have airfare, LL can sleep better at night and it's official official. No backing out now! :cloud9:

That's it! ::yes:: Thank you so much! Grey's always makes me cry. Were you able to catch the finale a couple weeks ago?

:yay: Glad to be of help!

My TiVo caught it for me. Ahh, sweet little TiVo, how I love thee.

It was a good episode, but I on the whole I think the earlier seasons were better.
