I think TK likes adding debt to her DH!![]()
Hey, LL, any updates soon?![]()
Seriously though, you should try it. You and your kids would look so cute for your trip in those shirts.
I'll second that! DF really really wants me to go on it, he says the everything about Tower of Terror is not to be missed, but I am scared.Maybe one day I will be brave enough -- currently, I am expending all my bravery on trying to get up the nerve to ride Tower of Terror on this trip.
I'm terrified! I have a fear of falling to my death and Tower of Terror doesn't help that fear at all.![]()
I also am scared to try this one! DH loves all rides, but last year at DL he about "you know what" in his pants from this one!He kept holding onto DS (15) and screaming the entire time...
I can laugh because I didn't go on it! DS15 just wanted to go back on it and no one would go with him...so he went alone 3 more times! DH said "no way am I getting back on that thing"
So I hope I'm not making things worse...it was a funny story at the time! And now DH is saying he might have to try the one in WDW....it looks a little different in the seating, etc. He wants me to go, so we'll see!
I say we all try it....it's Disney!![]()

This post is going to be way Off Topic, you have been warned.
I am very upset. I had an "incident" at Target tonight. DF and I were checking out and we bought a big box of cat litter. I went to lift it up and DF said, "I can do that". I told him I was fine and lifted into the cart. The cashier looks at me and says, "I know what that means, Congratulations." I thought she had seen my engagement ring, that was my only thought because what the heck else would she talking about. I said, "Thank You". Then she goes to me, "Do you know what you are having?" Ugh. I had this blank look on my face or at least it felt that way, I glance at DF whose mouth is gaping open. I look at her and feeling close to tears, I say, "Nope." I was absolutely horrified that she thought I was pregnant, I immediately feel like a fat cow and just want to get the heck out of dodge.
On the way to the car DF assured me I didn't look pregnant, bless him and was curing the ignorance of the lady. I have had this deep fear that people will mistaken me for pregnant. A lot of plus size clothing as that "maternity" feel to it lately, thought tonight I was wearing a zip up hoodie, so go figure, but that is why I have this fear.
I know I am probably overreacting but it still upsets me. Unless I was 100% sure or if someone said something about being pregnant, I would never just assume. DF was upset that the lady thought that I was pregnant just because he wanted to be a "gentleman" and do the heavy lifting as he put it.
Chivalry is dead and LL is going for a walk tomorrow.![]()
Seriously! Aren't women supposed to know that rule? Isn't that knowledge that we are born with? In the words of Alicia Silverstone, "As if."All I have for you are some big![]()
And some![]()
And some more![]()
Rule of etiquette number one: Never...ever...ever assume a woman is pregnant. You just don't know!
And it does not mean you are fat...it means she was clueless!![]()
I know! What is with that!? Just because we are plus size/curvy doesn't mean we want to look pregnant! So sorry this happened to you.People are just clueless! As someone else who is "curvy" I've had this happen to me as well. I hate those awful maternity looking plus tops that seem to be all around. I flat out refuse to wear them anymore because they do nothing for me.
