It's A Bird,It's A Plane ...

Disney wasting huge volumes of money for a few to joy ride to a couple parks while Epcot sits there with Future World in a sad sad bulldozer worthy state, World Showcase needing some new life to the same old same old, Tomorrowland in need of a bulldozer, yeah for SWL how about updating all the DHS shows .............. :sad2:

I don't like it. First, I have anxiety just riding the monorail, so I can't see myself riding these things. Second, we stay at POP quite a lot and its a nice walk to AoA over the bridge. I hate to think of trying to take the same peaceful walk through a bunch of people trying to get to the parks.

I doubt that I would ever ride it. I'll reserve judgment for now but I can't see it.

Just when I was thinking about staying at CBR they do an extensive brutal refurb (so out for this trip) and are going to be installing this crazy gondola service and probably will have a massive price increase before we end up being able to stay there....

Though this is awesome. I'd be terrified/excited to ride!

This looks great, in theory, but I know I'd never be able to get on it. I can't even ride a ferris wheel. I'm okay with mild coasters because it's fast and over with quickly. I can't handle hanging out in the air like that.

In my opinion there are not enough mods as it is, so not great idea to turn CBR into a DVC

Not sure how I feel about this. It sounds cool, but in reality, I wonder if it will be a good idea. I wonder where it will let off at Epcot? I can't picture it for some reason.

So much for the nice peaceful stroll from BC to the IG, not with this monstrosity hanging overhead

Not sure what Disney was drinking when they came up with this idea but the entire project seems like such a huge bizarre waste of money, especially when a few specific lands in MK and Epcot need major ground up refurbs, yes I'm talking about you TL and FW. They can't even keep the monorail system fully functional from one day to the next. How about adding more busses for the resorts that have current transportation issues, not to mention the lengthy waits for busses at park closing times.

I don't stay at any of the resorts that this thing will supposedly "benefit" but I can only imagine these resorts will see a jump in nightly rates, which is sad for those folks that can barely afford to stay at the value resorts as it is :guilty:

Thinking about this freaks me out. Everything else at Disney frequently breaks down (even new rides like FEA) or languishes in need of maintenance (Monorail). Can you imagine dangling out there in a broken gondola as a Florida thunderstorm rolls in? NO THANKS!

I hope I'm entirely wrong & they have planned for such contingencies. :)

I don't get it. I think it will be an eyesore. I don't understand how they will evac the thing if there are breakdowns and during inclement weather. I'm not looking forward to how ugly everything will be while they drag their feet during construction either. Of all the possible transportation modes, I am puzzled by this choice.

I agree about EPCOT but I thought the long rumored refurb of that park was in the works, perhaps to be announced at D23.
