It's 10pm and she won't shut up!

I'm tired, cranky, trying to Dis, trying to listen to Jerry Maguire and the police scanner (there's a big fire some place) and my soon to be 5 year old DGD won't stop talking. It's non stop. Questions, questions and more questions. I finally asked her where the duct tape is and she said, very seriously as she shook her head "It won't work, I can still talk."

Too funny. I feel your pain! My DD8 has been a talker, I think from birth. She has so much to say, and uses so many words to say it..... sometimes I have to tell her to please get to the point.. I get lost in all the embellishments and unneeded details. She wakes up talking and when she was younger, and I would lay down with her when she went to bed, she would talk until she fell asleep!

Care Bear, we have to get her together with my ds10--we used to have to play "The Quiet Game" just to get him to shut up for more than a nanosecond at a time.

And she's right about the duct tape. Um, I mean, I think she is...It's not like I ever tried it or anything........

I have three next to me .One is talking to his gameboy but the other two are arguing about which Fullhouse episode is best.It would take ALOT of duct tape....

I hear ya on this one!!! My DD is 6 and just yesterday I told her if she doesn't shut it for a while, the next time she asks me for ChapStick, I'm going to hand her the CRAZY GLUE!!!!!!

North Cape May, the dunes along the bay. The entire 600 block was on fire and I guess they were pretty worried due to the wind. Apparently some Jvs started it.

My son is a fireman here but he's working tonight so he wasn't there. The fire is out but the water they were using froze all over the street so now they have to put sand down. I'll bet those poor guys froze their patooties off. It's freezing out there!

Duct tape alone might not shut her up, but more than likely a dirty sock and duct tape would. You might want to try that!

Does it have to be a dirty sock? I can only touch clean socks. Feet and anything to do with them gross me out. Let me know because I do have lots of clean socks. Any particular color?
