Also, I picked AK as our first park day as both my DDs are HUGE animal lovers. I choose Ohana Sat. night for an early bedtime night for EE Sunday morning. But, please, give me your input too!! TIA

Hi, ohmom!

As you already know, we're traveling at the same time, although our land portion is at PO Riverside.

Make sure you're prepared for chilly weather in Florida as well as for hot weather. We never did get to swim at the resorts last year, because it was either too chilly or raining too hard (we were there the week that it rained all the time!). It was so wet that we actually gave up wearing regular shoes and wore our water shoes around the resorts. Of course, there have been other years when it was sunny and very hot that week, so we learned (the hard way, just like everyone else) to be prepared for anything.

Land: Your proposed itinerary is very similar to ours. In fact, we may see you at Boma on Thursday night! We don't have PS's either. I keep to a tight schedule all year, I don't want to be scheduled throughout my vacation. There are plenty of places to eat at WDW, if I can't get into one, there's always another.

Are you planning any time for things like resort-hopping and visiting Downtown Disney? Those are some of our favorite things to do.

Sea: We don't do excursions in Nassau either. We get off the ship mid-morning and head for Del Sol to buy color change nail polish and other souvenirs, to the straw market to look around, and then walk around a little and head back to the ship. It's great to be on the ship when many of the other guests are in Nassau.

We're bringing our own snorkeling gear this time for CC, so if we decide we want to snorkel we can do it on the spur of the moment. The water was a bit chilly early in the day last year!

Just make sure that you're not "locked into" your itinerary so that you can take advantage of all the little opportunities that pop up at WDW and on Wonder.

ohMom your itinerary looks great!!! Did you know at AKL they have these new lunch coupons. I think you pay around $11.99 and you get an entree a drink and choice of either popcorn or an ice cream bar. We bought them and ate at Flame Tree BBQ and our entrees alone there would have been over $11.00 we walked around the parks with the other coupons and actually came back another day and got the soda and popcorn. (WDW would like them all to be used in one day, but when we used them there was no way they could tell) It's a trial thing at AK and I don't believe they've expanded it to other parks, but I thought it was a good deal for us.

I love Boma too...I am so jealous.

EWP is usually around the 9:00 hour, so you'll have to ask at the front desk the time for the viewing at Poly. I love that show, although the new age music is kind of odd, but still enjoyable.

I'm sure you are all going to have a GREAT TIME!!!!

Your itinerary looks fine. Just a few FYIs. Thursday nights are traditionally Cast Member nights at Jellyrolls. It is probably the most lively night of the week.

On the night you do Illuminations, then DQ, you go to DQ pretty late. You probably won't arrive until 10pm and only get a few hours there. We did a similiar thing last year and wish we had more time there. They were closing it and we still had several things we wanted to do.....If you stick with that plan, it will be quicker to take a bus from one of the EPCOT resorts to DTD. Busses don't run from DTD to Theme Parks.

Hope that helps......:D

thanks for all your input - I have modified the plan - input welcome of course!!
