It will be just be me and my wife from May 1-7. We will be on our hunnymoon/1st anniversary and it will be her first time there. When I booked our trip I didn't know about the celebration and now I'm trying to schedule around the the busy parks. I tried to stay away from the emh except for AK, but going on May 5th I was thinking it might not be as bad as MK and Epcot.

Sunday May 1st -- Arrive to airport around 4:00pm, check in, go to Epcot for Illuminations.

Monday May 2nd -- Go to Islands of Adventure, and hit DTD in the evening

Tuesday May 3rd -- Sleep in a little, MK

Wednesday May 4th -- TL in the morning (basically to swim with sharks), Epcot in afternoon

Thursday May 5th -- AK during the day, DTD/DQ in the evening

Friday May 6th -- Sleep in a little, MGM

Saturday May 7th -- Leaving early for home

I think things look really good. Only thing is remember Epcot is closing at 3pm on May 5th. So it's inevitable that crowds are going to overflow to the other parks. I'd get to AK at opening to maximize your time there. Then if it gets too busy you can leave.
Don't forget to make a few PS's. Sometimes walk-ups can be hard to come by.

I'm not sure what the dates are, but people seem to be really happy with the three hour EMH's in the evening. I also agree with the poster above.....DW and I vacationed as a 2nd honeymoon in 2003, and enjoyed our meals as much as the parks! Splurge at least one night....do the Fantasmic dinner package and go to the Brown Derby, or really go for it and do the California Grill (pricey but amazing!). Overall, just relax and have a great, romantic time...don't push too hard to see everything.

Well, that's my two cents anyway! :goodvibes

Well Ive made a few changes. I found a flight that lands in orlando alot earlier (10:30 instead of 4:00) so I switched to it. Now we get to spend more time at Epcot on Sun. I also got a PS for Chef Mickey's character breakfast for the 3rd (Wifey wants to meet Minnie). So depending on how much we see on Sunday will depend what we do on the 4th. If we see everything we want to, the 4th might just be an "exploring/goof off" day. We'll just see what happens. Thanx for your input.

Do you have Plus tickets? If I remember they have 3 visits, but you only mentioned TL and DQ. Are you going to use the 3rd one? Or maybe you are going to buy tix separately for those.

I've got the Dream Maker Package so it will have the Ultimate Park Hopper pass. I bought the package before they switched over to the new system.
