We got a call from the travel agent today and we were told that Freeport would be added as a stop instead of a day at sea. I was looking forward to the day at sea as I enjoy the "sailing" portion of the cruise much better than the ports. I guess the extra day in port will allow us more time on the ship with less passengers. I was wondering if there was a change just on our sailing (Oct. 6/4 day) or on all of the sailings.

DCL recently re-instated the Freeport stops. Apparently their contract with Freeport had expired and they have just renewed it. My understanding is that every other 4-day cruise on the Wonder will stop at Freeport, with a day at sea during the trips that don't call at Freeport.

We got a letter...same thing (sailing 10/6). We like the days at sea, also, but will be stopping in Freeport. It'll still be great.

DW and I got word of the change and rescheduled our 10/20 cruise to 9/15. We have been to Freeport and have no desire to go back. (Plus, what better excuse to cruise 4 weeks sooner!!:) )

:( to say, but one of our 4 day cruises went to Freeport. I agree that I'd much rather be afloat than there. Much tooooo far from town for when you got bored and wanted to be back on ship ASAP. Cab ride was the one from hell, etc.
