Items to bring...

What kind of things do you bring with you for your villa? We are staying in a 2BR at OKW for our first trip home. Just wondering if you bring towels, detergent, dish soap,etc....We are driving so airport & packing isn't an issue.

I bring a little plug-in kettle for making tea. Then we fill it with baggies of ground gourmet coffee and good tea bags, sugar and splenda, crystal light, and a travel salt & pepper. If we are staying long we also pack a baggie of laundry soap and dryer sheets. I wouldn't bother with towels or dish soap.

Towels and dish soap/diswasher detergent are already there. I bring detergent for the washer, and dryer sheets, salt and pepper and other seasonings if I plan on cooking. Also coffee and filters. Any non-perishable groceries that I know we will use and don't want to shop for on vacation. Some have said they bring fitted sheets for the beds, since DVC doesn't use fitted ones. I have never done that, but I think I will start - those sheets are really annoying when they come untucked! Be sure to get some of those bath bombs at The Basin (store in Disney Marketplace) for the whirlpool tub! Enjoy your first trip home - OKW is wonderful!

last time we brought coffee, coffee filters, granola bars, breakfast cereal and some detergent for laundry. One thing we forgot to bring was a disinfectant spray for the entire 2 bedroom - I highly recommend bringing something to kill the germs.

Be sure to get some of those bath bombs at The Basin (store in Disney Marketplace) for the whirlpool tub!

Please pardon my ignorance, but is that something that would disinfect the jets in the tub? I'm getting so prissy in my old age, I can't stand the thought of turning on whirlpool jets in a tub except at my own home - because strangers' naked bodies have been in there.
