Itchin' For Some Fun...12/10/09 - 12/14/09...Finished 3/17

Goodness, Denise, I can't keep up! You're doing a great job posting quickly! :thumbsup2

Let's see if I remember everything I wanted to comment on...

The tea set for your daughter is SOO pretty--I'm sure she just loves it! And the throw is so cute too. It looks super comfy. Your grandkids are so cute, and I'm glad you were able to go see them for New Year's and celebrate Christmas with them! And Woo-Hoo for ToT!!!! :woohoo: It's my favorite action ride in WDW too!!! I wish I could go for a ride on it right now!! Oh--and all of the Christmas decorations are just gorgeous. I really, really want to go in December sometime!

Great update! :)

I'm still waiting to read about the TSM party!!! what in the world is that???

It was the Toy Story Midway Mania party that was part of DISapalooza. It was a private party for DISers from 9pm until midnight (the park closed at 8pm). It included free food, unlimited rides on TSM, and some Toy Story character meet/greets.

Yay the photos are showing now, it's so weird how it does that sometimes

Thanks for sticking with me! I'm glad you can see the pictures now!

Whew! I've been working on getting caught up all morning! I've finally done it.

I'm working on getting caught up on yours right now! :rotfl: I appreciate your reading along!

I've got the next update written, I'm just waiting for a chunk of quiet time (yeah, right) to sit down and insert all the pics.

I really, really want to go in December sometime!

I want to take the kids back to see the decorations, but I'm not sure if that will ever happen. If we don't take the kids out of school, we'd have to go during Christmas break and the crowds scare me! :scared1: :rotfl:

That's what I did for the majority of my TR. That way, it was fresh in my mind.

When I left off, we had just finished riding Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Now, we made our way over to The Great Movie Ride.

We had tried to ride this in 2007, but the preshow scared the girls. So this was a first for both of us. There was no wait at all. I tried really hard to get some good shots inside the ride, but my camera sucks at dark pictures.

Next up was my only priority for today: the Beauty and the Beast show!!!
The timing had just never worked out for me to see this before, so I was thrilled to do it today. Once we were seated, we had a short wait for the show started.

It was about this time that I noticed that the rash on the back of my hands was getting worse and was starting to itch more. Before long, the show started. I went a little picture crazy here, so hopefully I don’t bore you.

...continued in next post...

I loved it, and was so grateful that Tom was willing to sit through it with me.

I wanted to check out the Animation Studio next. On our way over, we walked through one of the shops.

We got over to the Animation area and had a bit of trouble figuring out where we were supposed to go for the drawing class. But we eventually found it and had to wait about 15 minutes. I sat and relaxed while Tom answered some work emails.

We were second in line when the doors opened and got the front row of desks that have tables (you don’t have to hold the tablet in your lap).

The instructor we had took a really long time deciding what character we were going to draw. It seemed really important to him that no one in the class have to draw something they had already drawn. That’s fine, but most of the people in our class had already done it several times, and it was hard to find something no one had done. It finally game down to Tigger. Tom and I were thrilled, because we love the Pooh characters!

The instructor did a great job of breaking the drawing down into tiny steps so that you could follow along and do a halfway decent job. I have absolutely no artistic ability, but somehow walked out of there with a drawing I was pleased with.

Here is mine…

Here is Tom’s…

Tom’s is definitely better, but I think mine is pretty good.

Here is our instructor, in case of you have ever had him.

On the way out, we saw that the Up characters were doing meet and greets. I briefly considered getting in line, because I adore that movie, but the line was pretty long, so I just grabbed some random shots.

We were both starving by now, so we headed over to Pizza Planet. On the way, I took a picture of the wait time for TSM.

Up next…lunch and more Hollywood Studios…

Isn't the Beauty and the Beast show just wonderful? I have such fond memories of that stretching all the way back to the early 1990's!

Your Tigger is great!!! :thumbsup2

Nice Updates.

I love all the Beauty and the Beast pictures. I haven't seen BATB in a couple years, so it was a pleasure to look at all the pics! I love the one of the prince on the floor.

Your tiggers turned out great. At least your DH drew his own. My DH conveniently took a bio break while I was drawing my character. I think its so cool how they can give such great directions that anyone can draw a character.

Your pics in the GMR turned out pretty good (dark ride or not). I can't believe how much you accomplished before lunch. Way to go!

The Beauty and the Beast show looks wonderful. I have never seen it. This will definitely be at the top of the list for April! Great job on the Tigger drawings :goodvibes

Great update and pictures! :goodvibes I've never gotten to see the Beauty and the Beast show. I just can't seem to get the boys interested! :confused3:rotfl: Thanks for sharing your pics!

I love all the Beauty and the Beast pictures. I am glad you went camera-happy. Never too many for me.

Your Tigger picture looks great. Where is it now? Didn't know if you framed it, maybe.

Since we have bad roads and no school here, it is most likely that I am going to wait to go to the P.O. until Monday after school. I'll be just a few blocks away from it and the weather will be a little better. Never fear, though, your happy music is coming. :goodvibes

I love that show. Even though I know it's coming the part when the beast transforms into the prince practically stops my heart in anticipation. Of all the shows lion king is my favorite but I love them all. But then I'm a show girl at heart. I'm always tapping my foot and holding myself down in my seat to fight off my urges to get on up and dance with them.

I think you did a bang-up tigger!

Great Updates!!

I just love the Beauty and the Beast Show!! Such a great show the music, the costumes, and the dancing is amazing!!!!

Awww I loved the Animation Studio and I look forward to drawing another character...should be a lot of fun!!

Can't wait for more!

Sorry for being MIA! I loved your pictures of the fountains at Epcot at night and I am glad Raven likes your blanket...SO CUTE!

Rockband 2 is probably the most fun game EVER...my roommate had it and we would play almost every night! I am glad you had a good time in SC.

Thanks for the picture of Demi in line for R&RC...she is one of the Disney starts that I actually really like!

Good job on the Tigger drawing...it's amazing how two people can follow the same instructions but have pretty different results. My mom and I actually had that same instructor and he was very good!

I love the great movie ride and BaTB!! We still have yet to get to do the drawing class. I think both of your Tiggers look good!

Nice update! The Beauty and the Beast pics are great! You both did really well in the art class! :thumbsup2 Very impressive!

Yay! Beauty and the Beast is my favorite!! :goodvibes I'm so glad you got to see it! We had the same Belle our second time, and the same Gaston our first time. That Gaston was amazing! We also had the same Animator! :) Both of your Tiggers are so good--how fun that you got to draw him!

It looks like a fantastic day!! :thumbsup2

I am loving your report! I hope that I see the Up characters when we go in March!
