Itchin' For Some Fun...12/10/09 - 12/14/09...Finished 3/17

I feel the same about illuminations. I can go years with out seeing it, but need to see wishes at least twice every trip!!

Okay, all caught up. I swear I had started reading this when you first started it, but must not have subscribed. I love Epcot and never seem to get enought time in the world showcase. Next trip I will for sure - even if it means ditching my family so I can go in the pavilions and shop and explore. I can't believe I missed the gingerbread house in the American pavilion! I saw all the others around WDW!

Cute dog, great pictures, MMMMM to all the food!! I'm subbing this time for sure!

All caught up. You got some great goodies there in the UK. It never ceases to amaze me the people who think they can cut in front of you for the fireworks. Happens every trip and still shocks me! :headache:

Hope the rash doesn't get worse???

Hi Denise- Happy New Year! The throw is adorable. I got one a couple of years ago, it's different though- it's fleecy on one side. Anyway, i love that souvenir- when I curl up with it I feel like I'm wrapped in Disney! :lovestruc Just got another one, a Christmas one online- can never have enough of them, I guess!

Before I continue with the trip report, I just wanted to share a little about our trip to South Carolina. I had wanted to be on the road by 6am Tuesday (12/29), and we weren't too far off.

We stopped along the way for breakfast, gas, lunch, and cigars for Tom. All this stretched the trip out, and we ended up not checking into the hotel until close to 5pm. We grabbed some dinner at Sonic and then headed over to Josh and Natalie's house.

After hugs and kisses all around, Rilynn was excited to give us a tour of her new house. Then we settled down to the business of opening presents!

Presleigh enjoyed opening her presents, too!

Natalie and Josh liked their gifts, too.

We were exhausted from the drive, so we said good-bye and headed back to the hotel. We settled in and were soon asleep.

The next day (12/30) we slept in, and hung out at the hotel for a little bit. Then we stopped and got Chick-Fil-A for everyone and took it to Josh and Natalie's house.

After lunch, Natalie, Sarah, and I went shopping. Rilynn and Presleigh took naps, Tom and Josh played around with Josh's Mustang that he is re-building, and Lee and Maggie played RockBand.

I was on the search for an outfit for a second interview, and was very successful. Sarah got some jeans, and Natalie found some great bargains on clearance at Gymboree for the girls for next summer!

That evening we went out to dinner at Red Bowl Asian Bistro. Wow, that was sooo good!

We headed back to the hotel and swam for a while (I DISed). Then we went to bed.

The next day (12/31), Josh and Natalie brought the girls over to our hotel to swim a bit.

Josh and Natalie took the girls home for naps, and we headed to Golden Corral for lunch. Afterwards, we headed over to their house to play with the girls while Josh and Natalie went out for a date!

We had so much fun playing with the girls! And Presleigh even joined her Uncle Lee playing RockBand.

When Josh and Natalie got home, we had to say our good-byes because we were leaving early the next day to head home.

It was a short trip, we were so grateful to be able to go and see their house and celebrate Christmas and New Years with them!

Up next...back to the trip report...
