Sorry for the absence.....but we were out of town for my oldest son's wedding!!! I'm gonna share some pictures from the very special day!!

This is the groom (on the left), Nicholas and the best man (also our son), Tyler.

This was a beautiful wedding, held at the base of Mt Ashland. It was sunny, warm (but not hot) and very scenic. It made for a stunning back drop!! I'm thrilled for Nick & Marie and love her family!!

Now back to the excitement of this trip!!! We are at 4 weeks from today!!!!!! Derek said the Magical Express Tags showed up at his place & so he'll be mailing them to me this week. I'll post a pic when I receive them. He did mention they had his name & my name but not Mike's. Is that going to be an issue? The reservation is in Derek's name..........

As far as magical expresss luggage tags, it does not matter that not all names are on the tags.

Ask him if Mike's name is in Magical Express Booklet, that has your travel vouchers for the bus in it. If not, you just need to give them a call and tell them Mike name is missing and they will fix it. Not big deal

Marie's mom made the veil!! It kinda reminded me of the one on Sound of Music (except her's was really long)

I know!!!! We have our Autism Walk in 2 weeks and then our trip 2 weeks later.........it's good to stay busy!!!

Yippee!!! We were able to order MagicBands this afternoon!! So excited we're getting to use these!! We weren't staying in one of the "testing" resorts.....but they are opening it up for more places......meaning, it must be close to going into full usage.



We weren't able to do the Fastpass+ but we don't have tickets (park) since Derek will be signing us in at the gates.

You might be able to set up your FP+ at park once you enter with tickets, at guest relations. Not positive, but think possibility

Our Magic Bands arrived at Derek's this morning!! Since he made the reservation, they were shipped to his address. I figured he could bring them to the resort when we arrived to meet him......but I discovered they have our room & our Magical Express tied to the bands. So Derek now has to mail Mike's and my band.......lol I'm not sure if we'll be able to do any of the FP+ once we get there or not.....Derek will be signing us in, so no park tickets. I know doing the FP+ is something we could do if we had tickets. I'm wondering once Derek purchases the MNSSHP tickets if I'm able to link them in the Disney Experience and then get to pick FP+ at Magic Kingdom for that day??





We're getting really excited as in 3 weeks we'll be driving to Portland and staying at a motel close to the airport that allows us to leave our car in their lot during our trip.

I read that it is not recommended that you link your party tickets to your magic band, but you can always ask at guest relations

I hadn't heard not to link the party tickets.......I figured that would be the only way we'd get to try the FP+. Guess we'll need to look into this more!

I'm so excited........ I secured a Be Our Guest ADR this morning!!!! This after I had lost that same reservation about 30 minutes earlier. I've been going on & trying to get BOG or Cinderella's Royal Table for the last few weeks. (once we found out we had to change our Magic Kingdom day). So this morning, I'm checking availability and it came up with a 4pm dinner at BOG so I clicked on it immediately. Well then the WDW website decided to make me sign in again. After signing in, it kicked me all the way back to the beginning dining page and by the time I got back to BOG....the time was gone. I wasn't happy....I got beat by a website......ugh! So I decided after getting kids on the bus to try again and nothing, but a few minutes later the 4pm dinner time was available again......this time I got it!!!! Now, my fear is.....there's a bit of a glitch in their system......so I'm going to print out our confirmation and have it on me.....just in case!

Now if I can get lucky enough for someone to cancel a CRT breakfast time.......that would just be the extra sprinkles on our iced cake!!!

I can't believe it.........I just got Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast on the 10th!!!!!! I'm in shock to get BOG & CRT, 23 days out!!! The Disney Dining CM I talked to after doing both of these, couldn't believe it either!! She said we should go play the lottery!!!

Wow! Great luck! Ironically, the ADR I had trouble with was Tusker House! I got BoG and Cali Grill with no problems but I had to fight for Tusker!

So go to the WDW website, click on My Disney Experience, click on Manage Magic Bands, click on each band separately and read down to see what has been linked to your bands. Magical Express and our resort room key are the only things on ours.....not sure why they didn't add our dining credits....but hopefully they can do that at check in. We didn't add anything to the bands ourselves.
