So happy you stopped in and I hope you are all well...how is your planning coming along! It's right around the corner for you guys!

So far, so good on the planning...we are just going down for a short 4 day trip so we only get 2 days in the parks!
But we're also planning some time with family and beach time so it should be a good little getaway.

This will also be our first time not staying in a Disney hotel, I know I'm a little scared about that. But... it is the Holiday Inn right downtown so I'm anxious to see how cool it's will be to WALK to Downtown Disney-it's only a 1/2 mile away! All in all we found a good deal that I couldn't pass up, straight thru flights so only 2 hrs each way- I'm super excited about that since I'm not a big fan of flying either.

I love rope drop at MK, it's such a great way to start your morning! I usually like to do MK the first full day of our trip, I feel like that show kind of welcomes you to your Disney vacation, but it doesn't always work out that way!

CHH and Cosmic Ray's are both so good, either one will be great for lunch!

I think I need to go to Coral Reef. I always read mixed reviews of it, but it seems like somewhere you have to go for yourself and try it, it sounds like it would be good, and it's so pretty in there!

Huh, I never thought of getting a slushie for Illuminations...great idea!

I agree...it's the best way to start your day!

I figure it will depend on where we find ourselves around lunch time to where we go...but I agree, both are great choices!

There is something about having a GGS that makes Illuminations even more spectacular, if that's possible!

Your plans for May 21st sound awesome! There is nothing like the opening show to start at day at the MK off perfectly.

Going shopping for new things before a trip is always one of my favorite parts, and not just clothes and such either. I am always so excited when I get to purchase travel sized toiletries because it means the trip is getting closer.

Mine too! Shopping is always fun but there is something great about shopping for an upcoming trip! I love the travel sized toiletries ... I had honestly thought we would make it down to the states for even a day before our trip but with gas hitting 1.17 per litre here, not going to happen...I almost had a coronary as I was driving to work yesterday when I saw the price had gone up overnight 12 cents per litre!

Thanks...we are getting more excited as we watch the days tick away

Any time you get to spend at Disney is a great time! We have never visited a beach in Florida...I have a slight phobia about sharks....I will never step foot in the ocean....ever!!!

A girl I worked with stayed there and they loved it! Should be great! I hear ya on the flying....unfortunately direct flights stop flying from here at the end of April

Good morning friends!

I can't believe it's been a week since I did a post! It was so easy being at home, I could pop on here anytime during the day, can't do that now! My evenings last week were a write off....so tired!!

It's Jasmine's weekend to work and it's Jeff's birthday on Monday so there is no money or time for trip shopping! We'll have to wait to do that until next weekend when she is off! I have asked her this week to go thru her shorts and see what she "needs"....I think I'll pop into a couple of the stores I enjoy shopping at too just to see what's out there!

Anyhoodle, let's get on with this....May 22 plans!!

This day we are heading to DHS!! The plan is to head straight for TSM along with everyone else and grab FP's! Depending on the line I think we'll ride standby instead of running back and forth! I also want to take in LMA but we'll see, Jasmine has the opinion that if you've seen it once you don't need to see it again, but I quite enjoy it....we'll see who wins this one

I will also try and use the "mother guilt" to get her on GMR...I love that ride and she doesn't! What could I bribe her with.....I know....a cupcake from Starring Rolls

We'll head over to ToT and RnRC and see how many times we can do those rides! Depending on our FP return time we'll either have ridden TSM already or we'll head over there to do it!

After that it will be a bus ride back to the resort for our pool time! I know Jasmine will stop of a lava smoothie and what the heck, I might as well grab a cocktail too!!

We have ADR's that evening at Via Napoli! We are very excited about this ADR...if you're reading our TR that I have going too, you'll find out very soon about our last trip to this restaurant....amazing!!!!

Know us...ok me...I'll head to grab a GGS to watch Illuminations again! We figured if we're at the park we might as well stay and enjoy it!

Jasmine will tell you that yes, we will be riding Star Tours, but I did get a littlelast time so I guess I'll be riding with my eyes closed

I have exciting new to share....I havn't been on here much in the last few days cause afer work I have been planning a spring gettaway to WDW!!!

I was initially planning a long weekend trip to Niagara Falls when I got an email about cheap flights.
I decided it didn't hurt to look and was pleasantly surprised.
Then found an annual pass holders discount for that time. Very promising.
I mulled it over and decided to just go for it since it was do able.
I got a one day only extra discount from JetBlue in my email box Wednesday so I booked us that night. It was meant to be! or was it Pixie dust!
Called Disney and booked a room at POP. (funny cause Lexi's choice was ASMusic. )
Yesterday I decided to change resorts and we are now staying in one of the Royal Rooms at POR.
We are sooo excited!!!

We will be there from May 17-May 21. Short but sweet and it is the last weekend for the F&G Festival.

Our plans are to go to HS the first day. Second day Epcot. Third AK. Fourth MK.
I made a few ADR's...Cape May, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace but I think I may change some.

We will either do DTD on Thurs or Sat.
I just went back and read all of your plans. I forgot about Star Wars weekends..when are they?
Our plans don't really overlap yours except for possibly DTD on Sat night.
I would love it if we could meet.

So I guess in a few months we will both be having sweet Disney dreams!
