It was to be a SURPRISE trip, but I blew it May 2012 PTR (New May 9 )

Sounds like all of the plans are coming together nicely!

Can't wait to see what you girls pick up shopping!

That's great that you've joined the gym hun - have been looking into ways to exercise more myself as well.

Love the plans of enjoying the pool and then having an evening out!

Good luck with your 'lifestyle change' - I love that saying and may use it myself. Enjoy shopping in May :goodvibes

Wow, that's awesome that you can go to the gym before work! I wish I could do that, get it out of the way, but I have to be in work at 7, and I have to leave my house at 6:30 so it wouldn't exactly work! I need to get moving too, I wanted to lose 30 pounds before my trip, but now that we only have 9 weeks left, I'm thinking 20! :confused3

Your DTD/resort day sounds great! I wish we had time for one of those with our trip, but with only 5 days to work with, there's not much time! I love DTD, but you're right, it's crazy at night!

Oh, I started a PTR for my May trip, stop by if you get a chance!

Ha Ha! I read your update a couple nights ago but was left speechless by Jasmine's enormous weight gain. Heck - I gained 5lbs just going to Long Island for the weekend! :rotfl:

Still, I can't wait to see what new goodies you end up buying for this trip. I have to admit - I love shopping for summer clothes so much more than shopping for winter clothes! :thumbsup2

Nice update Queen. Sounds like it is going to be a very relaxing day for you guys. Breakfast, a little shopping, pool time and resort hopping! Perfect! :cloud9:

We love to resort hop around the monorail. Such fun.

And congrats on the working out! It does make you feel better doesn't it? I have been doing the same thing and am down about 6 lbs. Was hoping for 10 before we leave in two weeks for our cruise, but hey, I'm trying. So keep up the great work. You can do it. :thumbsup2

Great update! It's AMAZING how much you save by going from 1 starbucks a day to 1 a week! It adds up FAST. Although, it is a lot less fun to just drink regular coffee at home. We're hoping we won't have to pinch pennies like this much longer with DH on the verge of a job :goodvibes

I wish we could plan a shopping and pool day. I just have a feeling it would stress me out because I'd be worried about missing out! Maybe when we get to our third mother/daughter trip ;)

Man, I wish I had the motivation to work out every morning. Right now I only have motivation to sleep! And we both totally ballooned up a bit after the wedding. A couple months later we just suddenly realized we were lookin a bit chunkier!

I love that the gym is only 8 houses away! Mine is only about 13 steps away--we have plenty of weights in the basement. Luckily, running is something I have formed the habit of. (I don't think I like running. I love the feeling when I've finished running...)

Congrats on the motivation! I agree it has to be a lifestyle change not a diet!

I always buy pens and pencils at Disney. It is an inexpensive way to bring happiness every day. I hope they have new ones this summer! I bought towels too, but I don't think I can justify additional ones. (maybe if they are too cute to pass.)

Dana, that is hilarious! How did you not drive off the road from laughter! That kid is a comic genius!

I almost did run off the road, but it wouldn't have mattered much, there was NO ONE else on the road but us!! Kinda reminded me of some of the scary movies from the 80's............:lmao:.

Time for another update! Finding time to get on here during the week is proving to be more difficult than I thought! I have started going to the gym before work so I am there at 6 home by 7 (it's right at the end of our street) and off to work by 8! I'm exhausted when I get home but love doing the gym first...I figured I'm awake anyways might as well be there!

May 23 - our first complete down day of the trip! If Jeff was coming with us we would have purchased the Water Park and More option on our passes but since it's just us we will stay at the resort and enjoy the pool. We have been tossing around the idea of getting up and heading to DTD for a little breakfast at either EOS or WPE and then doing a little shopping. I find the area a little crazy in the evening and hard to wander around and leisurely look at what we want to buy! We'll then head back to the resort for our standard pool time afternoon and then get ready for an evening out. Originally we thought that would be at DTD but now we're thinking about resort hopping around the monorail line....just to wander around the shops in each resort and the grounds!

We've been for meals at each of these resorts but never really took the time to walk around and see what they have to offer so that's the plan! We'll eat at whatever counter service catches our fancy at the moment!

I have started a list of "things to buy" which is never good because it just continues to grow and grow!! What's on there? Let me tell you.....pens, new beach towels (we usually bring from home but it's time for 2 new ones) two new Christmas ornaments (Jasmine is starting to think about buying stuff for when she moves out ... which I hope isn't for a very long time....and with University starting in the fall I'll have her for at least 4 more) a new tree topper (ours broke last year) antenne topper or 5 :lmao: and OHHHHH I FORGOT TO TELL YOU>......

Those of you who have followed us know Carrie-Lynn, she took us to the airport when Thomas Jasmine and I went in 2010, chaperoned Jasmine's 18th birthday party at the club and just a sweet sweet girl! I am so happy to say that she is expecting in July and we found out yesterday that it is a GIRL!!!! Jasmine was so excited and the first thing she said was "think of all the things we can buy her in Disney". I think we may pick up a thing or two!!!

Jasmine has been working very hard at only visiting Starbucks once a payday so she is doing great with her savings for the trip! She still has stuff she needs for the trip but wants to wait until closer to our departure day to buy anything because she gained 5 pounds over the winter:rolleyes1 Really??? I was supportive and said well you're going to the gym....blah blah blah....Really 5 pounds......supportive I need to be supportive as I battle to loose 50!!:lmao:

I won't even begin to think about shopping until beginning of May! I was doing so well with my "life style change" not allowed to call it dieting, before my mom passed away and then I gained 15 pounds back:sad1: I have lost 9 of it and am more motivated than ever. Having a Disney Trip does help and also having the gym at the end of the street (it's literally 8 houses from me) makes it easier!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and we'll chat again soon:yay:

Sounds like another good day planned!! I'm with you on the getting to DTD early, by noon it is getting really crowded.

Congrats on going to the gym, I wish I had the motivation, well, and the physical ability right now. Waiting until the first of May to shop is probably a good idea since you may loose so much weight that you have to go down a couple of sizes.

I can understand the money situation it can put a lot of pressure on! But you're a great girl and I know that they'll do what they can to help if they can

-It really does! It would so much easier if we didn't have to worry about it! Thanks Jackie, really, it means a lot!
-Your first day sounds like a lot of fun! I have always wanted to resort hop!
-Sounds like a pretty good list! I'm headed out with my roommate today to do some shopping since my refund money finally came in from my school! I need a beach towel really badly! I have two Disney princess ones, but I started using them as bath towels when I was younger, so I don't have an actual beach towel!
-I was looking on the Disney store website and they didn't really have any good pens :( My next trip I am going to buy one of those sets that they sell!
-My parents are ready for me to move out! I'm really only there a weekend a month, but I have to stay there this summer until I can save up some more money! I'm moving back into my dorm on August 30th with my current suitemate-but she's now my roommate! We've become insanely close, almost like sisters, which is so amazing because I didn't have anyone that close really! Then I'm doing the DCP, so I won't be living with my parents for a while!
-Is Jasmine going to stay in a dorm or live at home?
-I need a new Antenna topper too! I had the pink Disney princess crown one, and one day I went out to my car and it was gone :( I don't know if the wind took it, because it had been crazy windy the night before, or if someone stole it. I just hate they I can't even have an antenna topper on my car because people will steal it >_< I think i'm going to hang it from my rearview mirror next time!
-So exciting! One of my close childhood friends just found out she's pregnant! She's due August 15th and she finds out next month what it is! I am beyond excited to go to her baby shower and get her something! I love shopping for baby gifts!
-Lol! I would be like, you don't need to lose anything! I'm right there with you though...I need to lose at least 30!

Okay, caught up! I love your plans and I love that it's a mother-daughter trip! Two weeks?!? That is absolutely awesome!

I didn't realize is that Star Wars Weekends are on while we're there so I may need to change one of our weekend days to not be at DHS! Now, having said that, is this something we should be doing? We're not Star Wars fans but it is an event that we have never been to so I'm second guessing not attending! Any help would be appreciated:thumbsup2
I'm glad to hear you're gonna give it a try. I mean, if you don't like it you can always adjust plans on the fly and hit another park that day and head back to the Studios another day. But then again, if you're not fans, it might not be of any interest at all, even the idea of experiencing another Disney thing. Now, I don't know what SWW is like now, but when I went a couple of years ago, it was fairly concentrated on that side of the park. If you were on ToT you wouldn't even know SWW is going on. Maybe that helps some?

Weather....any help with the May weather would be appreciated! I'm thinking hot but not as hot as August, but I honestly have no idea:confused3
Its still gonna be hot but not near as brutal as August.

I'm hoping they will have merchandise out during the week so I can pick something up for Geodoc...he loves SW!
They should, since it's a multiple weekend event. There might be some makeshift stores (I think of them as "dealer's rooms" like at a convention) that have some specialty merchandise only open on the weekends, but since you'll be there then..... should be some pretty good SW/Dis stuff. I like the shirt I got one year for KC that had Mickey dressed as a Jedi fighting Vader. That kind of stuff I'm sure he'd love!

We will then head to DTD for our ADR at Raglan Road! This is an arrival day tradition for us!
If you're up for it, RR might be a great place for us to meet up. Depending on what time your ADRs are for and what day it is, of course. Let's see good friends and Guiness? What could be better??? ;-)

"Really?? It's the only thing he'll eat?? Well, it will kill her!! They threw it out right away! When I think back I can still see the look in my bff's eyes and I'm sure that father still has visions of them too:rotfl2:
Oh I can only imagine and I'm over here cracking up as I do.

<soapbox>
Maybe they need to work on getting their whiney-butt little kid to eat different stuff. Ugh! I can't stan parents that give in to their kids every whim. My guys tried to be picky eaters at one time but I always remembered the pediatrician telling me when they get hungry enough they'll eat what's put in front of them.
</soapbox>

Now, I need to tell you all about our plans for our first full day in the World! Where are we heading on this day.....why, Epcot of course!!! This has become my favorite park, that is until I get to the MK, then that's my favorite park....but for very different reasons:worship:
But of course!!! Funny, though.... I must have skimmed right over the mention of Grey Goose Vodka slushies. I know it's early and I haven't had enough coffee. Yeah, that must be the reason I didn't see it.

I hear ya girl! I'm ok as long as there is no turbulence etc...but if there is....well, it's not pretty:rolleyes1
It may not be pretty but it's funny as all Hades!!!!!!!

Of course then it is back to the resort to have some pool time, shower and get ready for dinner at Coral Reef! We skipped this one last year but the year before it was our best meal of the trip! Our ADR is early enough that hopefully we can take in Illuminations and a Grey Goose Slushie! I can't imagine standing to watch the show without one in my hands!:lmao:
Oh good! </me breathes a huge sigh of relief>. Wouldn't do for things to change that much, you know. In fact, I'd definitely take that as a sign of the end times.

Oh... btw, EM#2 just woke up. Wanted to come out here to talk to me, but I told him i was very busy catching up on a friend's trip report (that I'm soooooo very behind on). He said to tell you hi.

I'm with you! I hit the gym in the morning too. Thought about doing it in the evening but by the time I get outta work I'm soooooo tired!!!
LOL on Jas and the 5 lbs. Just be patient with her and remember how freakin' much that is to someone as cute as her thats never faced what her body's going to look like after she has kids (which is going to be a very, very, very, very long time from now). ;-)

And I LOVED hearing you call it lifestyle change and not the D-word. King Charming tried to say something about my diet when I first started losing weight and I put my foot down and made it very clear that we wouldn't be using that word. Because that's not what it was. A diet is temporary. Changing the way you think about food is permanent.

Oh and a new baby to buy Disney stuff for? Yeah, like you needed another excuse, huh? But oh, thats gonna be soooooo much fun!!!!

Sounds like your plans are coming together nicely! Bet you felt great when you booked the airfare. I would think that's what makes it really, really real.

Can't wait to see y'all!!!!!!! :cool1::rotfl2::banana::hippie::goodvibes:yay:

Gotta run! Trying to work up the energy to get a mile run in this morning. Of course, having these trip reports to enjoy has been more important. But now that I'm done....... oh well, there's always Facebook. :thumbsup2

Looks like you have some good plans for this day! :) DTD sounds like a nice plan, same with resort hopping. I think you'll definitely get a lot out of checking out the surrounding resorts, especially the monorail resorts, they are firstly, quite a sight and I think you'll definitely find some good counter services. :thumbsup2

Wow, that's a long list of stuff to buy. I thought I always bought too much in Disney lol ;) Good thing though you are saving up, since it looks like stuff you need to buy before and after the trip does keep growing like you said.

Good luck with your losing 50 pounds! I think by getting that gym time in the morning will definitely help, even though I'm probably the worst expert here  And 5 lbs... really? ... If I gained that much, a growing teen, I would be yelled at by my doctor to gain more. It really is insignificant, so she shouldn't get too hyped up on that.

Hope you are having a nice weekend too! (: Can't wait to hear more about plans for your trip! :mickeyjum

That list is gonna get a lot longer I'm afraid to say....willpower...I have none in WDW:lmao:

Thanks:goodvibes I absolutely love going in the morning! There is only me and one other lady there so I get my choice of machines and what channel the tv's go on!:woohoo:

:rotfl2: I've been compiling a shopping list too! I'm trying not to write it down, because I don't want DH to have a heart attack (we probably wouldn't get to go to Disney if he was in the hospital :lmao:)

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Good for you going to the gym every morning! I can't seem to get myself on the stationary bike--and it's in my basement!

That is funny! I did notice that Jasmine has added a few things to the list as well....they include her perfume that she loves from Italy!

I always thought if I had the equipment at home it would be easier but I don't think it is! I had been going to the same gym for the past 2 and a half years and it's about 10km from my house but I pass it on my way home so I thought that was convenient! I hated packing my bag, having to launder my work clothes more often after they spent an hour and a half in my gym locker etc etc...this way it's a hop, skip and a jump!

A day full of shopping, swimming, and resort hopping sounds amazing! I know you can't beat hanging out in WDW...but that's pretty close. And it's even better when you have lots of different things to buy.

Everytime I think of this day it makes me smile! all my favorite things to do wrapped up together!
That's great that you have a gym so close. Saves time not having to drive any extra before/after work. And Disney trips are such a great motivator. I find that I do better when I tell myself I'll soon be in Photopass pictures, plus I reward myself with new outfits for the trip. :thumbsup2 And if Jasmine's still discouraged just tell her that muscle weighs more and that five pounds can easily be water weight or just a bad week. It's not unusual for a person's weight to fluxate 3-5lbs.
I rewarded myself by putting $100 in my spending acct when I hit 10 pounds down last Friday!!:yay: I will hopefully be putting another $100 in that account at the end of the month too!

She is hitting the gym everyday lately and is making much better choices when eating! She loves pasta, sushi, and anything chocolate....and don't even get me started on those Starbucks drinks:rolleyes1

YAY for heading to the gym--I'm hoping for some warmer temps around home, so I can get outside more!
I can't wait to get back outside for my walks! I have great walking paths really close to my house and I much prefer being outside than couped up in a gym!
I like the idea of heading over to DTD in the morning. It seems as if when I've been over there during evenings, that I can't even begin to enjoy looking at everything for fighting through crowds. However, I'm like Jenbear---I can't make myself sacrifice a park opening to go shop in the morning. Maybe if I was doing a 2 week trip? ;)

Our first 2 week trip we headed over there one morning and it was perfect! I can tell you though if we didn't have 2 weeks there is no way I would sacrifice a day for that!:thumbsup2

Sounds like all of the plans are coming together nicely!

Can't wait to see what you girls pick up shopping!

Thanks hon:hug: The shopping will begin the weekend of Apr 23....she gets 20% off that weekend at work and she said they've been getting in really cute things....and she gets paid that day:worship:

That's great that you've joined the gym hun - have been looking into ways to exercise more myself as well.

Love the plans of enjoying the pool and then having an evening out!

Good luck with your 'lifestyle change' - I love that saying and may use it myself. Enjoy shopping in May :goodvibes

I have always been going to the gym but I had to take a few months off because I had surgery in January....now I"m back at it full force!:goodvibes

I always think the word diet signifies a beginning and an end....there is no end to being healthy! Thanks....I will definitely post pics once the shopping commences!

:confused3
I am very lucky that I don't start work until 845am and my commute is only 20 minutes! Having the calendar with the number of days remaining before our trip is sure motivational!
Your DTD/resort day sounds great! I wish we had time for one of those with our trip, but with only 5 days to work with, there's not much time! I love DTD, but you're right, it's crazy at night!
I hear ya....if I was there for 5 days we would be at the parks from open until close:banana:
Oh, I started a PTR for my May trip, stop by if you get a chance!
I will absolutely be over there...thanks for the heads up!

Ha Ha! I read your update a couple nights ago but was left speechless by Jasmine's enormous weight gain. Heck - I gained 5lbs just going to Long Island for the weekend! :rotfl:
We're going out this evening for my dad's birthday and I think I could gain 5 pounds then too!:lmao:Going to try my hardest to make a good choice but with this particular restaurant might be a little tough:rolleyes1
Still, I can't wait to see what new goodies you end up buying for this trip. I have to admit - I love shopping for summer clothes so much more than shopping for winter clothes! :thumbsup2

Me too! The only winter clothes I usually buy are work clothes....but summer stuff, I have more casual than work....I think because our season is so short!:rotfl2:

Nice update Queen. Sounds like it is going to be a very relaxing day for you guys. Breakfast, a little shopping, pool time and resort hopping! Perfect! :cloud9:
Thanks:goodvibes
We love to resort hop around the monorail. Such fun.
Us too...I can't wait to spend a little money in the shops in the Grand Floridian! Basin....:cloud9:
And congrats on the working out! It does make you feel better doesn't it? I have been doing the same thing and am down about 6 lbs. Was hoping for 10 before we leave in two weeks for our cruise, but hey, I'm trying. So keep up the great work. You can do it. :thumbsup2

It was awful when I couldn't work out....I am no twig, even when I do work out, but I am healthier! Getting my surgery out of the way was huge and now I am back full force....with the doctor's blessing!

6 pounds....that's awesome....good for you!

It sure does....she is down to one day a week and hasn't waivered from that so I hope she keeps it up! She bought a case of water so whenever she leaves for work or the gym, she grabs a bottle of water instead!

I wish we could plan a shopping and pool day. I just have a feeling it would stress me out because I'd be worried about missing out! Maybe when we get to our third mother/daughter trip ;)
I completely understand...that would stress me too!
Man, I wish I had the motivation to work out every morning. Right now I only have motivation to sleep! And we both totally ballooned up a bit after the wedding. A couple months later we just suddenly realized we were lookin a bit chunkier!

I feel so great after it and just knowing it's over with is wonderful! Once the snow is gone, Jasmine and I will start going for at least an hour's walk everyday....we love walking around our neighborhood so we're looking forward to that too! I will do morning and evening, she'll only do evening....she loves her sleep:rolleyes1

I love that the gym is only 8 houses away! Mine is only about 13 steps away--we have plenty of weights in the basement. Luckily, running is something I have formed the habit of. (I don't think I like running. I love the feeling when I've finished running...)
I feel the same way...I don't really like working out but I love the feeling afterwards!
Congrats on the motivation! I agree it has to be a lifestyle change not a diet!
:goodvibesThanks!
I always buy pens and pencils at Disney. It is an inexpensive way to bring happiness every day. I hope they have new ones this summer! I bought towels too, but I don't think I can justify additional ones. (maybe if they are too cute to pass.)
I couldn't agree more! Jasmine's picture on my desk at work is in a silver Mickey frame and one of my girl's at work just noticed the other day that it was all Mickey head's the whole way around....she loved it because it was so subtle! I haven't decided yet on the towels ....I'll have to see what they have :confused3 Too cute is hard to pass up tho!:goodvibes

I almost did run off the road, but it wouldn't have mattered much, there was NO ONE else on the road but us!! Kinda reminded me of some of the scary movies from the 80's............:lmao:.

I still think of those crazy movies we used to watch in the 80's ... Nightmare on Elm Street was particularly terrifying for me:eek:
Sounds like another good day planned!! I'm with you on the getting to DTD early, by noon it is getting really crowded.

Congrats on going to the gym, I wish I had the motivation, well, and the physical ability right now. Waiting until the first of May to shop is probably a good idea since you may loose so much weight that you have to go down a couple of sizes.

By noon, I want to be back at the resort for sure! Jasmine is all for no sleeping in on our pool/DTD days so that's perfect!:worship:

Trust me, I know all about the physical ability putting a dent in working out....I was cleared for it again on Feb 15 so all is good now! I can't wait to buy some new clothes!

It's so nice to have a close friend! I'm glad you have her!
-Is Jasmine going to stay in a dorm or live at home?
She will live at home, the University she'll be attending is only 15 minutes from our house:thumbsup2
I know the exact one you're talking about...I lost mine when I forgot to take it off before going thru the carwash:laughing:
-So exciting! One of my close childhood friends just found out she's pregnant! She's due August 15th and she finds out next month what it is! I am beyond excited to go to her baby shower and get her something! I love shopping for baby gifts!
-Lol! I would be like, you don't need to lose anything! I'm right there with you though...I need to lose at least 30!
We can't wait for this baby to come....Jasmine bought her 5 little onesies yesterday at work because they were too cute for her to pass up!:lmao:

Good luck with your weight loss too!

O. M. G.! When did this happen?!? I gotta go back and read--I am soooooo late!

Hey girl! Glad you're here:goodvibes

Okay, caught up! I love your plans and I love that it's a mother-daughter trip! Two weeks?!? That is absolutely awesome!

:goodvibes Thanks! Can't wait to spend this time with my favorite girl! Yes, two weeks, we are very fortunate that our trips are able to be that long! A great year end bonus usually helps with that!

I'm glad to hear you're gonna give it a try. I mean, if you don't like it you can always adjust plans on the fly and hit another park that day and head back to the Studios another day. But then again, if you're not fans, it might not be of any interest at all, even the idea of experiencing another Disney thing. Maybe that helps some?
I figured what the hey...we're there, we'll check it out!

Its still gonna be hot but not near as brutal as August.
Jasmine's exact words...."great...I gotta get my tan on" :lmao:

They should, since it's a multiple weekend event. There might be some makeshift stores (I think of them as "dealer's rooms" like at a convention) that have some specialty merchandise only open on the weekends, but since you'll be there then..... should be some pretty good SW/Dis stuff. I like the shirt I got one year for KC that had Mickey dressed as a Jedi fighting Vader. That kind of stuff I'm sure he'd love!

Jasmine will be tormenting her uncle with texts while we're there....she said she's going to get him back for all the texts he sent her from Turks and Caicos:lmao:

If you're up for it, RR might be a great place for us to meet up. Depending on what time your ADRs are for and what day it is, of course. Let's see good friends and Guiness? What could be better??? ;-)

Love to meet up at RR....we will pick an evening that works for you!! Nothing could be better than an evening spend with one of my closest Dis pals! Too bad Peg and Diamond couldn't be there....:sad1:

Oh I can only imagine and I'm over here cracking up as I do.

<soapbox>
</soapbox>
Amen sista....Jasmine heard no more than she ever heard yes...she seems pretty normal...I think anyways!:rotfl2:

But of course!!! Funny, though.... I must have skimmed right over the mention of Grey Goose Vodka slushies. I know it's early and I haven't had enough coffee. Yeah, that must be the reason I didn't see it.
I kinda thought you know me well enough to know that was a given....WS and GGS....goes hand in hand...wait, one in each hand...now that's the golden ticket:rotfl2:

It may not be pretty but it's funny as all Hades!!!!!!!

I'm glad to see that my fear of flying still invokes all kinds of fun into you....that's a true friend:hug:

Oh good! </me breathes a huge sigh of relief>. Wouldn't do for things to change that much, you know. In fact, I'd definitely take that as a sign of the end times.
:lmao:
Oh... btw, EM#2 just woke up. Wanted to come out here to talk to me, but I told him i was very busy catching up on a friend's trip report (that I'm soooooo very behind on). He said to tell you hi.
Tell that handsome young man that his mama's friend from Canada says hi back!

I'm with you! I hit the gym in the morning too. Thought about doing it in the evening but by the time I get outta work I'm soooooo tired!!!
LOL on Jas and the 5 lbs. Just be patient with her and remember how freakin' much that is to someone as cute as her thats never faced what her body's going to look like after she has kids (which is going to be a very, very, very, very long time from now). ;-)
You are my inspiration! I'm too tired at the end of the day too and more days than not end up being longer than expected because of unforeseen issues:rolleyes1 This way I'm done and if I get a bonus walk in that's great, if I don't that's ok too!

Ok, I'll try and be patient, but it's hard ya know:confused:

And I LOVED hearing you call it lifestyle change and not the D-word. King Charming tried to say something about my diet when I first started losing weight and I put my foot down and made it very clear that we wouldn't be using that word. Because that's not what it was. A diet is temporary. Changing the way you think about food is permanent.
I hate the D word too...and I also hate people saying, "is that on your diet"....makes me crazy!:scared1:
Oh and a new baby to buy Disney stuff for? Yeah, like you needed another excuse, huh? But oh, thats gonna be soooooo much fun!!!!
A new baby is so exciting isn't it? We can't wait for this little munchkin to come along! We were discussing names last week and she's torn between Sophia Grace and Rae-Lynn....I love both...Jasmine is just going to call her Sophie no matter what because she loves the name:rotfl2:
Sounds like your plans are coming together nicely! Bet you felt great when you booked the airfare. I would think that's what makes it really, really real.
Felt even better when I checked the prices this week and our flight is $923.....felt like dancing:dance3:
Can't wait to see y'all!!!!!!! :cool1::rotfl2::banana::hippie::goodvibes:yay:

Gotta run! Trying to work up the energy to get a mile run in this morning. Of course, having these trip reports to enjoy has been more important. But now that I'm done....... oh well, there's always Facebook. :thumbsup2

Cannot wait to see you either my friend...no matter what, we'll make something work! Get out there and get your run in girl....FB will be there when you get back!

We can't wait for this baby to come....Jasmine bought her 5 little onesies yesterday at work because they were too cute for her to pass up!

Good luck with your weight loss too!

That's so exciting! Thanks!

Jasmine will be tormenting her uncle with texts while we're there....she said she's going to get him back for all the texts he sent her from Turks and Caicos

Not that there was ever any doubt, mind you, but it's so gratifying to see you've raised that girl right!

Too bad Peg and Diamond couldn't be there....

Oh that would have been so fantastic, wouldn't it!!!

and I also hate people saying, "is that on your diet"....makes me crazy!

Amen! Of course it's on your diet! EVERYTHING that can potentially be eaten is on your diet. What most folks fail to realize is that you can have 2K calories at a meal if you want to. You just have to trade off somewhere else and/or get more exercise in.

Of course, that doesn't mean you can eat like I did yesterday (everything in sight, all day long) on a continual basis. But I got my run in yesterday (barely.... that witch that shares a body with me was very vocal about wanting to quit yesterday but I beat her down and finished my mile) and I'm going walking over at the Wilderness Lodge with a group I found on Meetup.com today. So hopefully I'll burn off most of the stuff I ate yesterday.

But that's what folks don't realize. Of course it's on your diet (whatever "it" is). It's just that you're smarter about what it takes for it to be allowed on your diet.

Okay... I'll shut up now. Let's go back to living in Disney's fantasy world where a princess can eat whatever the heck she wants, laze around all day without exercising at all (I hate working out!) and never gain an ounce!

You know... kind of like a teenager!

Oh and EXCELLENT news on the flight prices. Wow! Wasn't that like a $400 difference in just a couple of weeks?

Love the idea of a DTD morning and a pool afternoon. :thumbsup2

That is why I adore longer stays too....it let's you have the freedom to sleep in, enjoy down time and do whatever else you decide on a whim. Cause there's so many days to get all the must dos in. :goodvibes

I am so proud of you for going to the gym.
You will make your goal by doing just what you are doing...making time.

I'm inspired. I should try the morning workouts cause the evenings are not working for me.
Like you some days I have to stay late or cover for someone and stay all day.
And being heavy I'm tired too.

I can't wait to see your shopping pics. No matter how many things I buy at WDW, there always seems to be more that show up.
I like buying towels. We have quite the collection going. We got a really cute AK one on the last trip.

Take Care, sounds like we both are busy these days. Vacation time can't come any to soon. ;)

Hello Queen! :wave2:

Hope all is going well for you, and I hope you are getting the same beautiful spring-like weather we are getting! :flower3: I was just going to comment that we went last May and the weather was really beautiful, not too hot and mostly sunny every day. Of course with the way temps are up a bit right now in March, who knows how it'll be this year!

Well anyway, just wanted to stop in and give you a bump :goodvibes Talk to you soon!

 Carla
