I have started a trippie but I didn't take notes so I am having to try and remember most of it.

The Journey

We had pre booked our seats so we didn’t have to leave so early this time as we didn’t need to get to the airport till an hour before take off.

We arrived at the airport and checked straight in after which we got a couple of magazines and some water and settled down with a cup of coffee while we waited to be called for boarding. Eventually we were called and after being seated although it was over ½ hour late for take off the Captain came on and told us we would be able to make the time up and still land on time. All settled and we start to taxi down the runway, hands gripped to the seats I close my eyes ready and then I suddenly realise we have stopped. It appeared that someone had loaded the wrong freight on the plane and so we have to go back and get it taken off and the right freight put on.

Glad to say after an uneventful flight we finally land. Off into the immigration and there is a massive queue but unfortunately the computer systems are down and they have no idea how long they are going to be off for. Bad news, didn’t they realise that for over 8 hours we had been stuck on a plane and were now in need of coffee, our bags and freedom… Thankfully it wasn’t down too long and we were eventually told to stand and wait by one of the lines to be checked out. Okay it just wasn’t our day, I don’t know what was taking so long but we watched people long after us go through and at last we were moved to another line, we waited and then was called up and the immigration officer told us to hold on and she disappeared to the next one to do the people on there, now that was fair enough the poor officer I think was took poorly but then I had an extremely irate hubby who was getting crankier by the second. Thankfully it didn’t take too long and at last we were on our way.

We had arranged a meet & greet with *********** (highly recommended if someone is wondering about using them) and so pretty soon we were on our way to Pop.

We arrive at Pop Century

We check in which was fine we are given the 70’s building room 011. Great we take our stuff and find the room quite easily. Put the card in the lock and nothing, hubby decides its me so he has a go nothing, after trying every which way it is decided by dh that I will go to the check in and tell them. So it’s back to check in only to find that the room number given is not the right one and we are actually on the 4th floor. My day is getting worse as I hate heights and I know it will take me a week before I will be able to walk along the balcony to our rooms without my body being plastered to the walls, but I have to be honest and say I was just too tired to bother asking for anything else.

Eventually we get in our room. After sorting out a few bits and pieces we go and get our refillable mugs which I have to say must be the bargain of the century. We have a quick bite to eat and it’s back to unpack and chill out before going to bed.

Wow, talk about a long trip, poor you, I would have been tired too, great report,
