Hi, Maryann! I can't imagine how long it would have taken to get through that line for Sig. I am a huge fan of the show, but DH and DS just watch occasionally so they weren't motivated to melt!
Not sure about Alice's plans - I hope to see Sha, possibly Wednesday.

Welcome, Lucy! Crowds have not been bad. We did have some very light rain in the afternoon yesterday, but other than that it has been clear and hot!

Janet, I will think of you and the boys on POTC!

Anne Marie, at some point we WILL manage to meet up!

We had an absolutely FABULOUS dinner at Yachtsman. Ricardo is the best server EVER! After dinner we were too full and too tired to do anything, so we just came back to the hotel. That happens to us a lot.

Our dinner really was lovely. Food was wonderful, but Ricardo is so kind and attentive that he really made the meal special. They had personalized the menu with "Happy Birthday, Elizabeth", and he brought out a card autographed by a bunch of the characters along with the little cupcake. We are going back to Yachtsman again next week - can't wait!! I firmly believe that a server can make or break a meal, so we will always request Ricardo!

Today is AM EMH at MGM. Lunch at Sci Fi, Dinner at Boma.

We are supposed to do the resort photo shoot at 4 PM, but I am kind of on the fence about it. My eye looks weird, and since my eyes don't match it seems silly to pay $70 for a photo session. ON THE OTHER HAND...
If my left eye doesn't ever match the right one again I am going to have to come to terms with that, you know?
The other thing is that they had a PhotoPass photographer set up in the lobby last night so we had her take a few pics. Do we really NEED a whole photo shoot? Eh, not sure. Not to mention that DS will be all snarly at 4 PM because he will be tired. Decisions, decisions...
DH will be awake soon. He is the Official Maker of the Coffee, so he has to be up by 5 AM. I will ask him what he thinks. We talked about it yesterday but we never really came to any conclusions. If we get photos in the lobby a few different nights I think we'll be fine without the photo shoot. If we decide later on that we really want to do it we can reschedule.

Agreed! Ricardo needs his own fan club! I love having him as a server. I will wait the time it takes to be sat in his section. I know I will be guaranteed a great evening!

Just a couple of random thoughts about AKV/Jambo:

The light in the room is REALLY dim. If you want to see yourself in sort of decent light, stand REALLY close to the full length mirror in the entry way.

The hair dryer does not have much air flow, but it gets SUPER HOT. I am almost wishing I brought my own.
Candy, I did remember my brush.

The internet will disconnect you if you take too long to type replies. Better to keep editing or post several times.

If members of your party refuse to carry a bag then MAKE SURE everybody is actually WEARING sunscreen before you leave your room. Sunscreen at the parks costs $15 for 3 oz. I know this because DS went to Epcot with no sunscreen on yesterday. Luckily we realized it as soon as we got there.
