It just hit me, we will be there on CHOC day?

I recently switched our ressies to a 4 day PH from a 3 day and I planned on using it the morning of the 18th before we fly out! Now I am wondering if we should use the 4th day the night we get there on the 14th. we don't even land at SNA until 5:30 pm, and I wanted to do Rainforest cafe....but now I am lost and confused!! Is Sunday the 18th going to be insanely busy...I don''t even know what CHOC is!!! Help?

It looks like after the walk, they move on to DTD, so I don't know how that would affect the crowds. It looks like DL doesn't open until 10am that morning so unless you have a late flight you wouldn't get much time in.

Our flight is at 3:30 in the afternoon, and I am guessing I need to be back to the airport around 2-2:30 ish. Our 4th day was just a perk, we had only really planned for the 3 since our arrival and departures take up so much of the day. I am just stressing out over which will be the best use of time!! It could be worse

Most people suggest leaving Anaheim 2 1/2 to 3 hours before your flight time. If you do that you would be leaving around 1:00pm, giving you 3 hours in the park.

I believe DL closes at 9:00pm on your arrival night giving you 2 or 3 hours depending on how long it takes you to get to the entrance.

Since it is about even touring time wise, I would probably stick with the departure day and get as many rides in as you can that morning.

CHOC day is a fund raising walk for the Children's Hospital in Orange County. It
s actually a fun thing to do. You can walk around the park before it opens. You have to sign up in advance & donate. You can sign up to be on Mouseplanet's team at their web-site if you want to do it.

After reading about it, I really wouldn't mind donating and walking for the cause. Not that I am from the area, but my DS12 is recovering from foot/leg surgery and will most likely be in his wheelchair for this trip...and I so appreciate all the professionals in the medical industry!!
