It is time.....

Mmm.....Grapefruit. I have one in the fridge, too! We'll all have a big grapefruit snack with Kim today!

Food looks good! :thumbsup2

As for the Shred, I did Level 1 5x (every other day) before switching to Level 2. It was interesting because there are some things in Level 2 that are easier than Level 1, but some that are much harder... I wanted to die during the workout, but I am not as sore as I thought I'd be this morning. I think I'll stay on L2 for a while, maybe do it 8-10x before attempting L3 (which I have not even peeked at, I'm too scared!)

Congrats on your fresh start! My name's Laurie and I'm new to WISH, but certainly not new to struggles with my weight! I am also doing the weight loss journey... again... but I feel positive about it and am excited to start feeling better about myself again!!! 2 years ago I lost 40lbs with the help of a nutritionist and working out, and am going to be starting all over again on Saturday when I get weighed and measured by a trainer. As soon as that's done, I'll start posting my food and exercise in my WISH journal also!

I look forward to your continued success!!

Hi Laurie! Welcome and thanks for stopping by! :goodvibes Are you going back to the nutritionist or doing it on your own this time? I'd love to know what type of plan your nutritionist had you on. Mine, now, seems soooo regimented that I can't wrap my brain around doing it again.

Grapefruit party going on! :banana:Although, I haven't eaten mine yet. I might have it as an after dinner snack tonight....

Tonight is night 2 of the Shred. I'm a little scared, based on how sore I am....but heck, if the contestants on TBL can get through those workouts, I can do 20 minutes with Jillian, right? I also purchased 3 lb. handweights, since I can't seem to find mine since the move in October. I used 8 lb. weights on Tuesday night and there's no way I'm ready for those!!

8 lb. weights? Yikes!

I like your attitude about the Shred. I can't even imagine being on the show and having the trainers in my face.

Food for today:

eggwhite omelet with tomatoes
rye toast
100 cal pack choc covered pretzels
chicken with peppers & onions
string beans
celery with peanut butter

100 ounces of water today. Finished eating by 7pm.

Did the Shred again. WHEW. I am sore! Good sore, but still. haha. I'll be doing it again on Saturday. :goodvibes

Morning all! just wanted to post, at the end of my first week of the BL challenge, I've lost 3.2 pounds. :goodvibes

Congrats on the loss!!!

I can't believe you used 8lb weights on L1! :worship: I use 5lb weights and there were some moves on L2 where I could hardly lift them.

Thanks Tracy!

Well, I didn't make it through all the exercises with them, but I tried. Last night I used 3 lb. weights. DEFINITELY more my speed at this point!

congrats on the lass Kim :)
hope you've had a great weekend :)

Hey guys! I haven't been good about logging my food here this weekend. I did well up until the point of going out with the girls last night. Ate well, but I drank lots of wine. Hopefully lots of water and some green tea this week will flush it all out. ;)

I'll have to dust off the ol' photobucket account so I can post a pic or two here...

Hey Stranger ...............;)

Glad to see you back on the boards - Doing a 5 miler tonight in prep for the Princess 1/2 in March, if you get the urge to dust off your sneakers I'm here :lovestruc

I'm also doing the Food & Wine 1/2 in Oct too, if you need a running partner

Hope you have a great week ahead!:goodvibes Keep up the good work on your workouts and your food!:cheer2:

Sounds like the fun was worth the little splurge :goodvibes

Kim -

Had hoped to come when you had your gathering, but had the lovely "H1N1" and I did not think you wanted me to share that with you :)

Needless to say, I am so happy your back!!!

Didn't make it online to post last night after DD's basketball practice. I was looking through old photo's to hang up around the house. :goodvibes

Y'day wasn't a great food choice day. My quantities were lower than a full blown bad day...but I still don't consider it good.

yogurt
3 triangles of cheese quesadilla & approx. 15 french fries
grilled cheese
1 reeses dark pb cup (mini size)

I still didn't eat after 8, but didn't get all my water in. And obviously ate carbs for dinner.

Today's a new day!
