We had this discussion at our house tonight...were there any other presidents that were considered attractive at the time? I know Kennedy was known for his charisma, but it's hard for me to look back at old footage and think any of them was hot. I've only been voting since 2000, and so far none of those candidates were good looking until now. On a side note, or back to the main topic I guess, my theory is Barak's multiracial background helps - that usually makes for more attractive features.

I can honestly say I have never seen an attractive president, including the president-elect. I believe Ronald Reagan may have been considered a handsome man in his acting days, in some pictures he looks rather fetching JFK probably comes the closest, Bill Clinton just makes me gag. I find Obama to be rather odd looking. To each her own His daughters are adorable. I hope they get their new puppy soon

ewwww on Bill Clinton... I don't know why, but to me, he looks like a classic alcoholic (I don't think he drinks though, does he?) He's more 'alcoholy' looking than GW, who does (did?) drink!

I can see where Obama is considered good looking - not to me, but I can see where others see it.

Sometimes I think Obama is goodlooking....depends. I can look past the ears, I'd just have to lean one way or the other, but that mole on the side of his nose. If I get close to him I may be tempted to yank it off.

George W was handsome in his old photos, like when his kids were little. Bill Clinton, I love him, you betcha, but its his charm. George H, no real attraction.
