I have all the big equipment, but we're headed to WDW for a five day CAMPING trip in two weeks (sweaty just thinking about it) and I want to buy something new & compact that takes killer pics. ;) I have a couple Fuji p&s's that have been ok through the years plus an Olympus underwater that I love.

That said, I am looking for great quality snapshot camera in something that isn't going to break if I look at it funny. :) Also and I don't know if there are any great p&s flash cameras out there but that's always been a problem for me with the Fujis.

Soo...any advice and suggestions greatly appreciated.:)

Don't laugh, but I'd prefer to stay under $300...less is better. It's been so long since I've camera shopped I don't know if its possible.

Also...I wouldn't mind it being an underwater if the other specs are what I need. I like the Olympus I have but it's a beat beaten up too.

I had looked for a waterproof camera last year at one point and saw a Panasonic that had good reviews. Its been replaced since by this one:

The previous version of this camera got a good review at dpreview.com

Now if you also want a zoom, I had bought my Dad a Canon Elph 300HS at Christmas. He really likes it. I have seen it under $200 at times. Its not waterproof but waterproof cases are available for it.

Did u use any editing software or is this the actual way they looked? I'm trying to decide on a good p&s

Currently the Sony RX100 is expensive but very nice. In your prive range the canon S95 and S100 are nice as well...
