We are HUGE Disney fans. But my brother and his new wife want to go to IOA on Thanksgiving Day. If we can be there when the park opens at 9 we are figuring having to leave about 4 to make it to dinner reservations at Disney by 6. That only gives us 7 hours in the park. (That none of us have ever been to.) My boys are 9 & 7. The little one just 48 inches is the only one who would go on any roller coasters.

If I had to guess they are going to want to see the harry potter thing. We have never seen the movies and care not to. My boys would probably like the super hero stuff.

Sell me on this? Is it worth it $$$ ????

I am sure that Islands has great dining options. But its Thanksgiving and there are some in our party of 8 that feel they must have traditional dinner. So reservations were made months ago.

Your kids are a funny age for IOA. Too young for the monster coasters, a bit old for Suess. I would do Spiderman for sure- they would both enjoy it.

WWOHP is probably not going to do much for any of you if you have not seen the movie.

I would also get ponchos and do Jurassic Park. I think you would all enjoy that.

Honestly, you would be better off going to the Universal side with the kids being that age, and not being interested in Harry Potter.
