They did something similar with VDH, there are no standard 2 bedrooms or 1 bedrooms.
True but PP was pointing no dedicated 2 bed standard while they allow you to book 2 bed lock off that would have the Murphy vs the real queen in dedicated rooms.

Florida timeshare reviewer updated their comment. I added an edit to my previous post. Just in case people don't see that, here is the updated wording.

Comment: Escrow Agreement - Adding language pursuant to 721.08(5)(b)., FS for conditions providing an alternate assurance in lieu of any requirement that completion of construction of one or more accommodations or facilities of a timeshare plan be accomplished prior to closing.

Edit 1: They updated this to Approved, Pending. Here is an image.

Edit 2: the change is approved

Hoping I am grabbing the correct information for 721.08(5)(b)
b. Before the transfer of the subject accommodations and facilities, or all use rights therein, to an owners’ association, any lien or other encumbrance against such accommodations and facilities, or use rights therein, shall be made subject to a nondisturbance and notice to creditors instrument pursuant to subsection (3). No transfer pursuant to this subparagraph shall become effective until the owners’ association accepts such transfer and the responsibilities set forth herein. An owners’ association established pursuant to this subparagraph shall comply with the following provisions:
(I) The owners’ association shall be a business entity authorized and qualified to conduct business in this state. Control of the board of directors of the owners’ association must be independent from any developer or managing entity of the timeshare plan or any interestholder.
(II) The bylaws of the owners’ association shall provide that the corporation may not be voluntarily dissolved without the unanimous vote of all owners of personal property timeshare interests so long as any purchaser has a right to occupy any portion of the timeshare property pursuant to the timeshare plan.
(III) The owners’ association shall not convey, hypothecate, mortgage, assign, lease, or otherwise transfer or encumber in any fashion any interest in or portion of the timeshare property with respect to which any purchaser has a right of use or occupancy, unless the timeshare plan is terminated pursuant to the timeshare instrument, or unless such conveyance, hypothecation, mortgage, assignment, lease, transfer, or encumbrance is approved by a vote of two-thirds of all voting interests of the association and such decision is declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be in the best interests of the purchasers of the timeshare plan. The owners’ association shall notify the division in writing within 10 days after receiving notice of the filing of any petition relating to obtaining such a court order. The division shall have standing to advise the court of the division’s interpretation of the statute as it relates to the petition.
(IV) All purchasers of the timeshare plan shall be members of the owners’ association and shall be entitled to vote on matters requiring a vote of the owners’ association as provided in this chapter or the timeshare instrument. The owners’ association shall act as a fiduciary to the purchasers of the timeshare plan. The articles of incorporation establishing the owners’ association shall set forth the duties of the owners’ association. All expenses reasonably incurred by the owners’ association in the performance of its duties, together with any reasonable compensation of the officers or directors of the owners’ association, shall be common expenses of the timeshare plan.
(V) The documents establishing the owners’ association shall constitute a part of the timeshare instrument.
(VI) For owners’ associations holding property in a timeshare plan located outside this state, the owners’ association holding such property shall be deemed in compliance with the requirements of this subparagraph if such owners’ association is authorized and qualified to conduct owners’ association business under the laws of such jurisdiction and the agreement or law governing such arrangement provides substantially similar protections for the purchaser as are required in this subparagraph for owners’ associations holding property in a timeshare plan in this state.
(VII) The owners’ association shall have appointed a registered agent in this state for service of process. In the event such a registered agent cannot be located, service of process may be made pursuant to s. 721.265.

I easily rent my Boardwalk points with a December reservation. I can easily charge $27 - if I did $20 it would be gone in minutes.
Yes but boardwalk has the std. view points which really go far, even at27 per point and christmas never or seldom has discounts on cash rates. The rest of the year, 27 per point would probably be more than cash or at least close

You may be right.

We stayed in Moorea shortly after opening. Tokelau was under construction during our stay. Both pools were open. (Although, those who remember the first year recall the hot tub at the lava pool was closing often). During the stay, they were frequently stopping pedestrian traffic walking past Tokelau. (We got to talk with the guy stopping traffic a lot during that stay).
One thing with that construction though, we could see into the Tokelau (lagoon half - Moorea side) rooms at night. Many of them were entirely completed. We guessed they were working from the lagoon side toward the bus stop side.

One thing I'm wondering is Island Tower railing should be close to 70% installed. Based on lighting pictures at night, it may also be 70% complete inside. Didn't someone @mkatsy post awhile back that they are required to have a certain percentage completed before some steps can happen. In the case of Tokelau, they may have already had 70% completed between bungalows, Moorea, Pago Pago, plus some Tokelau rooms completed?
They are supposed to have a certificate of railing inspection from an independent inspector. I’m not sure how much flexibility there is regarding percent complete. Can they inspect a partial job? IDK

NEED HELP!

We currently have Poly Lakeview for Jan 25- Feb 2. This will be first time staying with our DVC points. We only get down once a year and have some more points. We are thinking of coming a day sooner and getting a SSR 1BR for a night and enjoy the springs. (never stayed at SSR)
BUT my other hope is when the tower opens for point bookings we would be able to switch our poly room to the tower for a 1BR the last 2-3 nights (depending on point chart)
Full Disclosure: I am traveling with my wife, sons 4 and 1, and mother in law and father in law. Studio I feel like is going to be TIGHT.

So my question for you DVC veterans...
What are the chances of actually getting a room at the tower for the end of January with points? If not likely the extra day at SSR is a no brainer to me.
Additionally, if I call, will they modify my 8 nights stay at OG Poly to 5 nights and then 3 nights at the tower?

Not so patiently waiting for this chart....

I don't think anybody can say for sure, but I do imagine it will be an absolutely mad rush. Whenever it opens for booking, there will likely be only a fraction of rooms available to book with points (most won't be declared into the association yet and only available for cash bookings), and the entire universe of existing PVB owners will be competing for a handful of rooms.

Now, since it'll all open at once, it's not like the 7- or 11-month booking windows where everybody is competing for the same dates. Folks will be frantically re-booking reservations over the whole year, so you may not have competition for your particular dates and room type.

My guess is that if you are online right when the window opens you might have a shot, but if you wait a day or two it'll be gone. But that's really a wild guess. I don't think anybody knows for sure.

If they are poly points you may get the extra booking time once they open.
I believe this is what happened to those that owned VGF when Big Pine Key opened.

If that is the case hopefully you should be able to get in. That extra bathroom for 4 adults and 2 littles will be a game changer in the tower 1 bedroom.
