Uhh, yeah. Competition across town also released information on that little hotel attached to that new park…I don't think it was an error, just a bit of lead nurturing by their marketing team. They announced a bunch of stuff via the blogs and social media today
Detective Sandi—always on the case!I’ll be in Disney next week once I get off my cruise I am on now!! Let’s see what info I get!!
Universal sent out a marketing announcement and emails today about their new in park hotel the Helios (inside Epic Universe expansion). I assume Disney wanted to make sure that PIT wasn’t left in the dustI don't think it was an error, just a bit of lead nurturing by their marketing team.
According to the concept art, there will be four (four!) seats by the rail and maybe six (six!) sofa seats.
This is always my thoughts - the concept art for places like this always looks stunning but I just picture the hundreds of people trying to squeeze in/grab seats/grab viewpoints etc etc! Guess it's just part of the WDW trip "charm"!According to the concept art, there will be four (four!) seats by the rail and maybe six (six!) sofa seats.
Let's start betting at what time people will start stalking them for a firework view. My money is on 5pm for the rail seats.
Here praying there is not enough space in front of the seats for people to stand, otherwise there will be bloodshed.
Yes, but there are definitely good fireworks viewing spots on some of the longhouse staircases, and people don't seem to crowd those (at least, not while I've been there). Fingers crossed they won't here, either. Even though it IS far nicer than standing on a staircase! This is always my thoughts - the concept art for places like this always looks stunning but I just picture the hundreds of people trying to squeeze in/grab seats/grab viewpoints etc etc! I was at MK just last night and reminded how insane people are about fireworks viewing. Made me long for the Adirondack chairs on the Poly beach.According to the concept art, there will be four (four!) seats by the rail and maybe six (six!) sofa seats.

I think it helps that most of the folks in lagoon-facing rooms would rather watch from their own balconies?According to the concept art, there will be four (four!) seats by the rail and maybe six (six!) sofa seats.

I don’t think so -What I'm seeing over on the DVC Fan FB group is that several guides were contacted, and none of them even knew the email was going out. Maybe someone set the send date wrong?

Probably just lack of coordination between the Marketing team and the Sales team? There should've been a heads-up, but email like this don't actually get sent by the guides. What I'm seeing over on the DVC Fan FB group is that several guides were contacted, and none of them even knew the email was going out. https://disneyparksblog.com/wdw/new...llas-bungalows/?CMP=SOC-DPFY24Q4wo0822240002F“Wailulu” gets its name from the Hawaiian words “wai,” which means water, and “lulu” which means calm, which is very fitting as this unique restaurant will boast breathtaking views of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
This I'm willing to accept but I have a hard time envisioning them being able to keep up with the quality of nearby restaurants at GF and Contemporary but I'm hopeful and will hold off any judgment until I get to try it out. I am glad it's a real table service.Love that they’re taking the Sanaa approach, but I hope we get 3 separate menus (breakfast, casual lunch, and fine dining dinner) rather than 2 menus (breakfast & casual lunch/dinner).
I wonder if it will be similar to Kona Island in the morning? Pastries and coffee, but they also have breakfast sandwiches.Disney parks blog has a bit more info on dining:
“This casual walk-up pool bar will feature an all-day menu for lunch and dinner that is influenced by the Polynesian Islands’ local and indigenous ingredients. Specialty coffee and on-the-go morning pastries will be available for breakfast.
The dining room will be adorned with dazzling Polynesian-inspired artwork, created exclusively for the space, including floating tropical fish sculptures crafted from recycled materials and reclaimed fishing nets. The fish will be “swimming” throughout the space, leading to a grand textile piece featured in the bar area, representing a colorful coral reef”
So breakfast is just specialty coffee and pastries (like Le Petit Café!) no hot breakfast though so probably have to go to GCH for that. Also maybe breakfast is just in the pool bar area? Not sure if that’s what that’s saying.
I wonder if there will be different menus for the indoor (dining room) v outdoor (pool bar) sections of the restaurant. Probably a bit too complicated but it would be great to have multiple options and areas to eat, if so.
