Is your Tree and Xmas decorations down?

Took ours down on the 29th. Normally I do it New years eve, but figured since I had the energy I should tackle it earlier.

I took mine down early this year because we are leaving for WDW ina few days and I dind;t feel comfortable elaving a live tree up until January 15th.

Usually I start taking the Christmas stuff down little by little after the first of the year. I do it a bit at a time so it's not such a daunting task. Had a couple fo days off last week, so I did it then so I could devote this week to preparing for the trip.

My tree is still up but it's naked and will be put away tomorrow. All of the house decorations have been put up.

Not yet, I take them down New Years Day.

Well I changed my mind and everything is put away until next year.

I took mine down today.I have abot thirty people coming over and needed the space.

It's tradition for us to take it down on New Years Day. I was once told that taking it down before the New Year could bring bad luck. I only did it once- and I did have a really terrible year. I'm never tempting fate again-- it comes down tomorrow if I have time. Otherwise Monday.

I've been told that also, that your tree should stay up until Jan. 6th. But I just can't. It has to come down the day after Christmas. I put up my tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and am so ready for it to come down after Christmas morning. So I guess I will just have to deal with any bad luck that comes my way.

Tomorrow we go to DD's to get hers all cleaned up.
Nice to have everything clean and uncluttered again.

Boxed up everything this morning.
Will put this on the table, when it arrives.
For maybe a day or so.
After Christmas sale 1/2 price.

I wanted it for this Christmas.
I just hate paying full price for anything

All my indoor decorations are down and boxed. All my outdoor decorations are still up til next week when my husband finally has a day off.

I will leave mine up for at least another week. I love the Christmas season so much with all the lights & decorations. It's going to be a bummer to me to drive through my little gated community and no longer see all the lights and decorations. Oh well, till next year!

Our tree was down on the 26th....the decorations are slowly coming down

We are going to take the tree down and all the decorations on Monday. Then give the house a good clean. I love the holidays but once it comes to New Year's I just want the house back to normal.

I always leave everything up until New Year's. I take it down my first day off and this week it will be Thursday
