Is your silverware drawer segregated?

I even segregate silverware in the dishwasher basket. Forks go in one section, spoons in another, etc...But I think that was born out of pure laziness. It makes it easier to pick up all of the spoons, for example, out of the basket and put them in their place in the drawer...

My silverware is segregated because it makes them easier to get to and use. My towels are folded and stacked, but I don't line up seams or sort them by color or anything. For me it's a usability issue, not a neatness issue.

All my towels in the closets are stacked with the nice folded side facing out. This way a person can grab just one two very easily. If the edge was facing out you could grab a part of the next towel and make a mess.

I have a silverware tray that has compartments for the different pieces. I am a stickler about putting the silverware in its appropriate compartment.

For example, small forks in first compartment, them large forks, then small spoons, then large spoons, then knives.

My sister throws everything into the drawer so it's all mixed up. Drives me crazy!

So are you a silverware sorter or not?

BTW, my towels all have to be folded the same way and placed in the same direction so they look neat as well.

Same as you except big forks first, small forks next. Towels must be folded the right way or they get re-done. Thanks Mom.

I seperate silverware and fold towels sameway too. I even seperate my silverware when I put them in the dishwasher so its real easy to but them away. But I have to admit when it comes to clothes in bedroom not so organized

I didn't buy a silverware organizer as I planned, so I don't have before and after photos yet. Hopefully this weekend. My mom will be happy to see my silverware organized. She teases me that she failed as a mother because of the way I throw them all in as a bunch. She's a southern lady who always had everything perfect in our home growing up "just in case visitors came by". DH says he doesn't care as long as they're clean, but he's a stickler about everything in the house being properly organized. I guess it's the Marine in him.
