Is your NEED to go to WDW greater then your NEED to stay at your Fav. Resort?

Thanks to everyone for all the great replies. I knew I could count on you guys to help me out. I have always wanted to stay at CBR. I was thinking maybe I could get my DH to try that or we could try CSR and who knows I might just love it. I don't know I guess the pictures I have seen of the rooms is what scares me they look so "hotel roomy". We usually enjoy at least 2 days at the resort. And I just don't like the looks of the rooms! But I do like the AllStars so that is an option for us. We have a 2yro DD who will turn 3 during our trip in Oct. and all she watches is Disney movies. She loves the big icons, and we love to see her face when she looks at them.
At this point I'm just waiting to see what rates we can get for the AKL. Thanks everyone.

Hmmmm ... I tend to only want to go deluxe and I was going to suggest splitting .. lol!! I am curious as to why he is so against splitting? If you are going to be there for 12 nights? That would be 6 and 6?

My advice - pull your womanly wiles on him...lol.

I really don't like splitting. Either at Disney or Las Vegas (another place with a zillion hotel options) I like the feeling of being settled in at 'home'; knowing where everything is, the shortcuts, when our room will be done (approx), etc. Having to pack up, move, and start fresh would be unsettling to me.

Having said that, I think that, for a 12-day trip, even I would try two places, if just for the chance to try something new.

Okay here it is my DH REFUSES to do a "split" stay because he HATES!!!!!!! change. As you can see in our past trips it had taken me quite awhile to get him to agree to go to a different resort other than OKW. We did love OKW but he always complained about the buses! And anyone who stayed there can agree with me it has to be one of the worst bus stops ever.IMO! But we really wanted to go to WDW for our DD 1st Birthday and we had just bought a new home so money was tight so he had to stay at a value resort or we couldn't go. I got him to go to AKL because it was the only resort he really wanted to go to. So know he loves it and I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else (if our saving will let us). Anyway the only stipulation he has about us going is he will NOT split a stay between 2 resorts. He likes to get settled in one room. He is a very sweet man but until he opens the door to the room he is uneasy. This is when you can see the relaxation start to flow through him and you can official say we are on VACATION!!!!
