Is waitlist possible for concierge?

Hi
I am looking at a cruise (spring break week) that doesn’t show availability in concierge todsy.. is it possible to be put in a waitlist?

If yes, are there true chances of getting it?

Yes you can get on a wait-list. In 2019 we waitlisted for a concierge room on the Wonder during spring break and one came up

We've waitlisted for concierge twice and gotten it twice (and then been able to get a cabana on Castaway Cay, too). Just make sure you are clear about which room you are waitlisting for. You can go on a waitlist for one type or both types, and you still then get to say yes or no when a room comes open.

You can waitlist, but I recommend continually checking availability as well. I was once waitlisted for concierge and saw a concierge stateroom pop up in inventory prior to DCL ever calling me. I called quickly and was able to snag the stateroom.

Book a regular room and then call DCL and ask to be placed on the waitlist for the category of Concierge room you want.

Be ready to pay when they call you. I think when we were on the list and got the call, we had to pay the cruise in full since we were inside a certain time frame.

If you're inside the concierge paid-in-full deadline, then yes, you would have to pay right away. Our upgrades came before the PiF date, so we just had to pay the additional deposit at that time.

Yes there is a possibility of getting off the waitlist. If your not paid in full I believe you have 3 days to pay the deposit. Also when you call they will ask you what type of room you are looking for. Make sure you have an idea of what type of room you are looking for because once you book they don't want to down grade. ie if you book a 1 bedroom, they can contact you to upgrade to a 2 bedroom or a royal suite. They won't contact you if there is a family concierge verandah that pops up.

Don't always rely on waitlist. Check periodically on their website and click modify stateroom. If concierge shows up try to grab it that way.
