We are planning a trip to WDW in Nov '09 and are considering tagging on a couple of days at Vero. Our kids will be 6, almost 4 and 11 months at that time. (The youngest is still cooking).
Is Vero worth it for kids that young? We will be going to HH for the first time in the summer of '09 and have heard the beach is better for small kids since the waves aren't as big. Would we even be able to let the kids play in the ocean without fear that they will be swallowed up without constant supervision? Is there much to do around there besides swimming. (Not that dds would mind an all swimming vacation).

It looks so pretty, I thought it may be worth considering.

Our son loved the kids program at Vero. We really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the resort. It has a great pool with many planned activities throughout the day.

Absolutely! Great pirate ship splash area with a play ground are right by the main pool. My kids love the mini-golf, campfire gathering and a Sat. morning character breakfast. Just to mention a few.

Yes!! We live about 25 minutes from Vero and we LOVE going there for the night. Our DD is 2.5 and she would live in the pool and on the waterslide if she could:rotfl: She also likes the pirate ship spray park area. I don't let her near the ocean w/o supervision at home or at Vero, though. I don't think that that's a good idea for young kids.
