Is Tutto Italia allergy friendly?

I seem to remember reading here it wasn't accomodating to food allergies? I am gluten/dairy intolerant and am interested in eating here and not eating just a salad.

Are there any really good allergy friendly Epcot restuarants?

Thanks!

We are also GF and enjoyed a couple of meals in Epcot. I really loved The Garden Grill. I thought the food was prepared really well and the chef took the time to find out our needs and easily accommodated them. the dessert was the standard brownie, but he dressed it up for us and we all really enjoyed it.

We ate at Le Cellier and liked it a lot, but I'm not sure I could recommend it as an outstanding GF meal. It was steak. The desserts were limited (mango sorbet?) and the chef never came out. It was really awkward. Still, the setting was lovely and it was a nice break from the day.

We also had Princess Breakfast in Norway. It was fun to do th cold buffet, but I imagine this may be harder with a dairy restriction as much of the buffet was yogurt and cheese. ALso,there are no GF Mickey Waffles here, only Vans frozen ones. If I'm having breakfast, I'm having Mickey Waffles :rotfl:

Our next trip we are trying Biergarten and Rose and Crown GF for the first time. We have been there before allergies so I am excited to see how accommodating they are! :scratchin

Hope your trip is great!

My brother has gluten/wheat, tree nut, and garlic allergies. As far as Epcot we always enjoy some very enjoyable allergy friendly meals. However, i would not recommend Tutto Italia...The pasta was mushy and tasted worse than Olive Garden. Instead if you are looking for Italian try Tonys (in the MK). We have eaten there the past 4 years and it has always been good with the allergies (and we are Italian so we are pretty picky).

As far as other restaurants go i would recommend Rose and Crown, Teppan Edo, and Nine Dragons. We tried Rose and Crown for the first time about on our vacation a few weeks ago. The food was really good and the chef promised to make my brother something special...he delivered :thumbsup2 Teppan Edo was a first last trip as well and because we cannot eat at hibachi by us it was so cool that they made his meal first with gf soy sauce! It was also very tasty and was a good size (though ive heard many disagree). Nine Dragons is good with the allergies but is hit or miss with the taste.

The other option is to go to the Boardwalk/Beach Club area. These places are just a short boat trip away through the gateway between France and England. Here there are many places to try such as Yachtsman (one of the best with allergies) and Kouzzina (we have only tried breakfast but very good with the allergies).

Hope this Helps!!

We ate at Tutto Italia in June and had a fantastic allergy experience. They have a GF menu. My kids have peanut, tree nut and shellfish allergies, so I can't speak to your specific allergens, but the staff was fantastic. The manager (an American, no language barrier) took the kids' orders, double-checked with the chef, and personally served their food. The waiter even was kind enough to warn us that the kids shouldn't try anyone else's food, just to be safe. It was one of our top dining experiences of the trip. Flying Fish and Brown Derby were also awesome. Everywhere we ate was fine, but the staff at those restaurants seemed to put in extra effort to make sure my kids were happy and comfortable with their food choices.

I haven't been to Tutto Italia, but I've heard a lot of hit or miss reviews on this one. I really like Garden Grill too; they are always fairly good with food allergies and I love the atmosphere--good character interaction too. I have also had good experiences at Rose & Crown, Restaurant Marrakesh, and Nine Dragons (though they never did bring the chef out on that one; there seemed to be a bit of a language barrier).

Great information, thanks!

My mother is GF and we eat there every year. Looking forward to our next visit in Dec.
