Is Toy Story Mania really worth the wait?

To my everlasting disappointment, I can't see 3-D, so this ride does absolutely nothing for me. Rest of my family loves it though.

To us, TSM is worth riding once each trip. Its much better than buz at the MK and it's fun, but I wouldn't wait in line for more than 45 minutes for it. Best bet, get there at rope drop, ride it once and be done with it.

TSM tied with Soarin' as my kids' favorite rides in all of WDW. I will say, though, that we wouldn't wait in line without FastPasses - I wouldn't make DS6 and DD4 wait more than 30 minutes for a ride.

DH and I loved it, too. In fact, we bought Toy Story Mania for the Wii and played when we got home, while munching on Disney treats purchased with our leftover snack credits... great way to stretch the magic even longer! :)

yes, yes, yes, worth the wait..this is the only ride at wdw that i would wait over an hour for even without a fp....that being said we always go at rd and get one of the first fp, get in line, and still get a fp for later in the day, its our favorite:goodvibes

We were just at HS first week of September and even though there were no waits for any rides any where else, there was, at one point, up to an hour wait at TSM. We grabbed a FP in the morning and did it once in the afternoon.
I would have loved to do it again but waiting more than 20 minutes for a ride with 4 year olds is not something I like to do.

My twins loved Buzz and to them there really wasn't much of a difference between the two, and Buzz was also easier for them to shoot. Plus, we could ride Buzz 3 times in a row with no waits.

For older kids, TSM is probably more fun plus it is one of the only kid rides at HS.

If you get to HS early enough, you may be able to get your FP then ride right away, before the line gets along so at least you'll have 2 rides without too much of a wait.

I've been wondering about that. I can't see 3-D either. Is the ride really a waste of time for me? Philharmagic is in 3-D but I love it anyway.

I've only ridden TSM once and waited for about 75 mins to get on. While the ride was alot of fun, both my g/f and I agree we won't wait that long again. I have a hard time considering it a ride. To me it's more of a video game. The 3D effects are great, as are the added sensory effects. But throught the ride, your just parked in front of a video screen, shooting your gun at anything that moves. I dunno, I'm just amazed at the hype this ride gets. Again, it's alot of fun, but not worth more than a 30 minute wait for me.

I loved it. Definitely worth waiting at least once. I had my 3 year old daughter with me and she also loved it.
