I can't believe this search is STILL on! When this was first posted, I sneaked a peek to make sure it wasn't me...which it wasn't, of course, but I was in MK on August 12th...anyway, seeing the post continue made me wonder if maybe it really WAS me and I didn't realize it!! Crazy, huh?

DH, Dmom, Dsis, and I were in WDW August 12th-and stayed through Charlie at POP! What a fun trip...DH had such a great time, he's already planning another August trip for 2005! Hopefully we won't have another hurricane though this time!

I check this site everyday to see if anyone has claimed the photo to be them (how fun would that be!). But I have to say, I don't know if she (let's call her mystery woman) is wearing a DIS pack! I have never honestly seen one but after looking at the picture that Pooh's Pal posted of a DIS pack and then looking at mystery woman's pack, it doesn't look like mystery woman's says anything on it. But it's still bright green and you have to wonder how many people would have a bright green pack and not be a DISER?! Anyway, lets keep it going!

I know.......I agree. But, I will keep trying. IF it's a DISer, she's gotta come back.....ya know, to plan the next trip!!

I was at a local (as in MD, not Orlando...) one day for lunch and a lady walked in wearing what looked like a uniform like what some dental hygienists wear, but this 2 piece outfit was very much lime green. I almost got my camera phone out to take a picture, but chickened out (and was laughing too hard, anyway). My husband thought I'd lost it!

I'll have my camera ready to take pictures of lime green at WDW!

Been biting my tongue cause your all having fun with this but I HAVE to say it. SOme people really don't like their picture and especially their kids pictures posted on a public forum. Its possibly the reason this person hasn't acknowledge it.

I belong to a few message boards as well as a few game room boards and I have seen stalkers and the amazing amount of info they can find on a person with just a nick and a pic. I may be a bit more leery than most but been there, done that, never want to go through it again.

You're right that a person does need to be cautious on a public board. Of course even if someone does step up and let the OP know that that is them in the picture nobody knows where that person lives, etc. Nothing much someone could do with that info. And if that were the case the person would probably have at least PMed the OP letting her know.

I agree that a person has to be careful what info the put on a publim board, not to mention say in passing to the checker at the grocery store, etc (not to be paranoid, but people are listening).

I wouldn't worry about it in this case, however.

I agree..... people do worry about privacy these days.....but if the DISer (if in fact she IS a DISer) in the picture doesn't want to say "Hey, that's me!" to all of us....she COULD PM me. Don't worry tho...if she does PM me, I will be sure to let you all know she identified herself and maybe tell you what state she lives in. I think that'd be enough information w/o jeopardizing her privacy, huh? I'm just waiting for the day she realizes we are all wondering if she's a DISer.....

I think you've already invaded her privacy by putting a photo of her and her family on the internet without her permission. I too have been biting my tongue and waited for someone else to mention it so I wasn't labelled as the one to always spoil the fun. I know that you are just curious who this and are having fun with the whole thing but even if safety is not an issue, it is not right to use a photo of someone elses kids for your own amusement.

But you can see the rest of the kids not to mention their mother. I'm not talking about safety...I'm talking about privacy. I'm just saying, if someone posted a photo of me and my family on the internet without my permission I would not be happy.

But we have no idea who they ARE though. I'd be willing to bet there are hundreds of pictures of me in the background of all kinds of Disney vacation pictures. Lots of which are probably posted on snapfish or webshots, etc.

phew, thank you Ali. I think until you see an internet stalker in action, you don't realize how dangerous it can get. Alot are computer nerds and hackers and can find out amazing amounts of information from what seems like no information.

When posting vacation pics, I use public webshots to post scenery type pics and private webshots (invitation only) to post ones with pictures of us or other people on them.

Although this message board always feels safe, mostly parents, normal people who are happy to go to Disney, you don't know who is leerking quietly in the background and all it takes is an email addy to join up.

Its all a matter of choice and your not giving the people in that picture any choice.

Sorry to be a b*tch about it but its something I feel strongly about, I guess.
