Is this true when it comes to the Bounceback rate

Two weeks ago when my family and I reserved our August 2012 reservations with the Bounceback rate the Cast Member on the phone said because we are reserving that specific rate at that time we could reserve another Bounceback reservation for different dates, even after getting back home from WDW since we had our next reservation reserved. I have never heard that before so is that true or was that Cast Member incorrect.

I don't know, but I also booked a bb rate last week. I would love to add a couple of days at a different resort so I would love it it that were true.

I wouldn't trust anything one of those phone CMS say. I was there Nov 26th-Dec 4th and booked three bounceback deals (May 5th-12th, Sept 1st-8th, and Oct 27th-Nov 3rd). She laughed about me wanting three at once and I told her I did the same thing last year. I mentioned that I may need to change my dates a little and may change resorts, but wanted to have some trips booked, just in case AP discounts didn't come out for my dates. She informed me that once I got home, that I would not be allowed to change dates or resorts. Uh, yes I can. As long as my desired dates fall within the dates of the offer and bouncback rooms are still available for the resort I want I can. I do it every year. My trip this past Sept was booked under a bounceback deal and I not only moved the dates back two weeks, I switched from POFQ to CSR with no problem just a few months before the trip. I don't know if I could have booked an extra trip, but I have moved my dates or changed resorts on a bounceback months later, more than once and still kept the discount. I told her I had and she swore there was no way I had.

I think you can modify a Bounce Back you have already booked, but you can not book a new reservation under the Bounce Back. So if you booked your trip for August, and something came up and you couldn't go until September, you could modify your existing reservation so long as there was still availability under the offer. But if you got home and said "rats - I forgot to book my Bounce Back trip for August" you would be out of luck.
