Is this true - Points ?

Hi !

We've thought about renting points to two nights at WDW.
I used the point-calculater to calculate how many points we would rent.
It said 8 points per night from the 9th of September to the 11th of September at the Old Key West Resort ( studio ).
I thought that sounded to good to be true ?

Is it ?

NOT!!!!!! That IS the number of points necessary for a weekday studio at the OKW Resort during the months of September, October, January and the non holiday periods of December and November. Welcome to the DIsney Vacation Club at DIS!!!

I was also looking at the point calculator I found on these boards and thats what I came up with. That is off season so that may account for the lower point total. There is a fella on ebay selling 5 nights for 499.00 so assuming he is making a hundred bucks for his troubles that sounds about right.
