Looking at a AKL resale contract 85$ per point 150 pts. All 2016 pts plus All 2015 pts banked into 2016 with a june use year.

Is it the size you want? Is it your preferred Use Year? Can you afford the purchase?
If yes, then it's not too much!
If you're concerned, you can look at recent resale sales if you google "ROFR database" and look for the most recent one. Remember that the ROFR data is always a month or two behind and prices have been increasing so you probably won't get quite the same deal that people got 2-4 months ago.

It's not bad considering you could rent out those extra points if you don't need them and recoup some of the cost. I just passed ROFR on AKL for $75 per point but didn't have any 2015 points left

Never offer full price offers on resale contracts. Always start $5-$15 below asking and go from there.
