I agree to that as well.I think it has more to do with if someone is on the wait list for that use year.
Let me know how it goes. Wishing you good vibes. I am actually thinking of changing the offer (which was a full price offer), to $107 per point, hoping that will help it along.I'm in ROFR now for AKV @ $100 per point extra loaded (all 2017 points plus banked 2016 points). Should hear back any day now... we'll see.

definitely - if no wait list for those points - you gotta 'em.I think it has more to do with if someone is on the wait list for that use year.
IMO it's almost never reasonable to up the bid to aid ROFR. Just roll the dice and see what happens. They purposefully do ROFR to keep you guessing, let them be the one to sweat it.It still has 100 2017 points left. So that also makes me worried.
Agreed. If they need it for the waitlist it’s going to be taken in ROFR.I agree to that as well.
Maybe it's just me. I only worry about paying too much for something and never too little for anything. If DVD decides to swipe a good deal from you via ROFR, then just move on to the next best deal. The only thing lost is time. If one feels one's time is too important to spend moving from one ROFR'ed contract to the next, perhaps one should consider buying direct.
LAX
That's exactly how I was feeling. It is time consuming constantly checking for what you are interested in. I just want to get going on the process. I thought this contract was more than reasonable, as I see so many priced way higher. I also just saw a report from one brokerage for Jan ROFR and most were for AKL and one was for $100 pp. It is true that Disney could take this contract, but at least I tried my best.I think there's a balance between time savings and cost savings. For our resale contracts I did feel like it was taking a lot of time to keep checking the listings constantly and make multiple offers. It was my goal to end up with reasonably priced contracts that were unlikely to be taken in ROFR for the UY, size, and home resorts we wanted, even if they weren't necessarily the best deals ever. We still saved a ton over buying direct for those resorts.
