Is this the year I finally complete one of these? Spring Break trip! Pics start on Page 4!

Heading onto ET now, 60 minute wait listed
Wow! When we were there at the end of August, ET was a walk on every day! In fact quite a few of the rides were......but you're at the tail end of Spring Break time so that makes a big difference. I love the ET ride even though it's old; very classic and I loved the movie :)

We've never run into a wait time anywhere near this for ET.

So after eating at the Three Broomsticks, we wandered around for a bit and then decided to head back. Both of our feet were aching really bad, worse than normal for some reason. The plan was to grab an hours sleep and then head over to DHS to catch the Star Wars fireworks, then head to MK to use a 7dmt fast pass. I think we must be getting old however, because we fell asleep and didn't wake up until housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30am this morning! :rotfl: I guess we must have needed the sleep! Our feet are great now! We're headed to MK now, we've got BoG booked for lunch and LTT for supper!

Longest Peoplemover line I've ever seen and I've been here Christmas Week! Even CoP was almost full!

Pretty heavy rain and a few big booms have made a lot of people leave the park. We were leaving anyway in order to quickly go to the lost and found at the ticket and transportation center, seeing as I couldn't get anyone to answer in the 45 minutes I tried this morning. Good news though, my drivers license was there! :thumbsup2

Just checked in for our LTT supper, when we got back from the lost and found, we went on Pirates, then Country Bears. The line for Pirates was quite long but they had a pirate in a cell playing a small guitar and Captain Jack Sparrow was in one of the tunnels to take pictures with! I got a few that I'll upload when we get home. Park still feels crowded even though a lot of people left. Probably because all the outdoor rides were shut down.

We were in MK yesterday and it was crowded but surprisingly manageable with our FPs and our plan. It sounds like today was more hectic than yesterday, especially if the rain didn't thin the crowds! Hope you guys had a good day despite the obstacles:)

We had a great day! Supper was fantastic, although they don't serve the mac n cheese anymore, so Tammy was a bit sad. The parks really died down after Wishes, we went on everything! We ended the day with Philharmagic, the last showing of the night. I think there were about 10 of us in the whole place. Peter Pan was a whopping 20 minutes, IaSW was literally a walk-on. As in, we walked down the ramp and straight onto our boat without slowing down at all. Little Mermaid was also a walk-on. We also did Hauneed Mansion and the Peoplemover. After Philharmagic we watched the Electrical Light Parade and I went for a hotdog at Casey's. We stopped one more time at the candy shop, where we got a cookie and a couple of chocolate covered strawberries! Had a really good day.

That is so cool! Both the pirate playing the guitar in a cell and DEFINITELY Jack Sparrow in the tunnel taking pics :goodvibes I believe I read about him doing that once over Christmas break so they must have him do that occasionally during very busy times. I'd love to see your pictures when you get home and upload them.

I'm going to make sure to upload them all off of both of our phones plus our two cameras. We have a lot of pictures so far!

We've been on TSMM, the fast pass line looked bad at first but it went fast. We got to use one of the carts that has the buttons! This makes it so much easier on your arm. I guess the cast member saw the brace on Tammy's knee and sent us off to a cart with more room.

Well 50's Prime Time was good and bad. I'm not a vegetarian but I tried the vegetarian lasagna and it was great! Tammy had the Chicken Pot Pie and hers was good too. Our server on the other hand, I knew it was busy and didn't expect too much, but we got more interaction from the person who brought us to our table. I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. The only times we even saw our server were at the beginning where she mumbled that she was cousin something and at the end when she brought us the bill. She did make one other appearance where she dropped a drink off for Tammy, but not me even though my drink was empty and hers wasn't. We had planned to have dessert but I really did not feel like adding to the tip. I usually over tip as a habit because these people have rough jobs and a lot of them depend on the tips. This is the first time in a very long time that I tipped the minimum listed. The only reason she got a tip at all is because I know that it likely isn't entirely her fault due to the cut backs at WDW, but really, not even a bare minimum attempt at serving us.

Also I guess I should mention that the other servers I saw seemed to be having no troubles with interactions. :confused3

So the Star Wars fireworks are absolutely amazing! We're going to come back early enough from Universal tomorrow in order to watch them again, then head over to MK for 7dmt.

Walked right onto Transformers, waited 10 minutes for Simpsons and now we're about to walk onto MiB! So far so good!

Took the train over to IoA and went on Spiderman, 45 minute wait for that one. Seems like the crowds are fairly low today though. Had lunch at the diner near Spiderman, really good food! I had the Captain America burger with cheese fries and a chocolate shake and Tammy had the crispy chicken salad with a water and a cookie the size of a dinner plate! She's probably going to be eating that all day.

Aren't they? DH and I saw them in January on our kid-free trip. I believe they'll be different ones by the time we go with the kids in Nov. but hoping they're just as spectacular!

Sorry about your "cousin" at 50's, that stinks. It always seems to be hit or miss there. We haven't been in a couple years but always get a good server. However our friends were just there last week and had a........well, a boring one unfortunately.

We're on our way back from Universal. We did everything we wanted today! The crowds were pretty hectic when we left but still not as bad as our first day. The Raptor Experience was fantastic, can't wait to show you pictures of that! We're headed back to Pop for a bit to eat and then we're going to DHS to ride a few rides and catch the fireworks again. After the fireworks, we're going over to MK to ride 7dmt. Should be a fun night!

I just found your trip report, thanks for reporting. Your trip sounds fun but exhausting! Enjoy the rest of your time!! I'll be at the Pop in August, tell me how noisy it is...

Thanks for reading! We have an extremely quiet room in the 50s that faces trees, right next to the main building, so we're loving that. We've stayed here a lot though and only a few times have we had issues with noise. We've stayed in August quite often at Pop and we've been pretty happy with it in regards to overall noise levels.
