Hello all! I've decided to do another trip report finally! I've done several in the past and I have this horrible habit of disappearing halfway through! :rolleyes1 I'm going to try another one, because you never know, I might just get to the end of this one! My name is Jason and my DW is Tammy. We've been going to WDW almost yearly (sometimes more than yearly) since we got married 14 years ago! We're both huge Disney park fanatics and swear that someday we'll try some sort of non-Disney trip, but other than the occasional trip to the Rockies, it just doesn't happen! We're planning on heading to Disneyland in the summer and then we're finally going to head off continent to Tokyo Disneyland next spring break! But for this year, it's back to our favorite, WDW! I'm going to be doing a lot of live posting while we're there. I've done a live trip report in the past and it was a lot of fun!

For those that are interested, here are the links to the previous reports:

We went on our first Disney Cruise on the Dream last summer. I wish I had done a TR for that one, but we'll be going on more of those for sure, so those will come!

Our itinerary for this trip is as follows:

March 25th - We're going to be getting up around 2am on Friday, our flight takes off at 5am. :faint: Our plane lands around 1:15pm, so I'm hoping we'll be checked in and ready for MK by about 3pm or so. We're staying at our favorite, Pop Century! We have supper at BoG this night, but I've just noticed that somehow our supper reservation is overlapping perfectly with our 7dmt fastpass! Uh oh!

March 26th - Animal Kingdom - Tusker House for supper!

March 27th - Epcot - Le Cellier for supper! Pretzel bread and cheddar cheese soup! :cloud9:

March 28th - Universal Studios - We've been once before to see the Harry Potter original area, but not since the train was added so we're pretty excited about that! We'll be headed to MK for a little bit after we're done at US.

March 29th - Magic Kingdom - We have BoG for lunch and one of my favorites, Liberty Tree Tavern for supper! I think we have a full shelf of LTT glasses in our kitchen now! We buy another couple every trip! :upsidedow

March 30th - Hollywood Studios - 50's Prime Time for supper this time, we almost always go to the Sci-Fi, so I decided to switch it up this time.

March 31st - Back to Universal Studios, probably to do all the other rides that we'll miss the first day!

April 1st - Epcot - We'll be having lunch at the Coral Reef on this day!

April 2nd - We're going to finish off the trip with the Magic Kingdom. No reservations today, we're going to hit a few of our favorite counter services!

April 3rd - Our plane leaves at 7am and it's an international flight, so we're going to be up painfully early this day!

I'm going to end this first post with a picture that I took on our last trip that I love!

Just started packing, down to 13.5 hours before the flight! Our Magical Express tags just arrived at the travel agency yesterday, so that was a bit close! I just realized while packing that I now have 7 batteries for my camera, not sure I'm going to need quite that many but you never know! A few weeks ago I bought a phone charging bank that holds 16,750mAh, which is enough to recharge both my wife's and my own phone almost 3 times each! Pretty compact too so it'll fit in our park bag quite nicely. It also has two usb slots, so we can charge both phones at once! Last trip we spent around half an hour in the store near Space Mountain just sitting and waiting for our phones to charge at one of the charging strips they have there. It wasn't terribly fun, so I didn't want to have to do that again. I'm going to be taking pictures with both my phone and my Canon SD880. I usually post a ton of pictures and I can't see this report being any different. I'll have to keep reminding Tammy not to start eating until I can take pictures of her food!

Here's a picture of the cast of this trip:

Well, I'm off to get a few more final details done! We're probably going to try and have a few hours nap this evening, got to be ready to get going at around 2:30am!

After a wonderful 2.5 hours of sleep, we're awake and almost ready to call a taxi to take us to the airport! :hyper:

Plane just landed, we are finally in Orlando! Now for the long taxi to the terminal where we can do the mad dash to the Magical Express counter!

Got into our room about 15 minutes ago, we got the 50s building! The Classic Hall/Everything Pop is right next to us! Love it! Now we're off to MK, it's raining a bit but nothing like it was on the way from the airport! It poured!

I have you moved. Did you guys get that crazy snow yesterday or did it go North before it got to Toronto. I live in Wisconsin.

We did Universal in February. We almost missed one whole area of Harry Potter at the Universal Studios side. It is like a secret door area you have to enter. We probably should of read a map.

Have a great time. We usually go at this time of year, but my husbands work in Florida was in February. So at least we still want.

Thanks very much for moving it! We got about 1-2 inches of ice and snow, so getting to the airport was fun!

Will it be possible to miss anything if we're taking the Hogwarts Express over to the other park? Cannot wait to see it!

Was just in the middle of a huge update and my phone decided to reboot for no apparent reason.....

Guess I'll have to try again.

Going to try this update on my iPad instead.

So we attempted to get to sleep early Thursday evening in order to be well rested for our long day with the 1:30am alarm. That didn't happen quite according to plan because it's hard to fall asleep really early, especially when you know you're going to Disney the next day! The last time I saw on my clock that I remember was 11pm. Once we woke up and finished off the final, final stuff, I called a taxi to take us to the airport. After an hour of waiting and repeated phone calls, I finally gave up and we got Tammy's mother to drive us. So we were already running late and the roads were covered in ice! We made it there fine however and getting through checkin and security took no time at all.

There was a mile long lineup at the only open coffee vendor, so I suffered until we got onto the plane. We got the plus seating for this flight, so the middle seat in our row was converted into a table and we got a ton more legroom. Breakfast consisted of coffee and a snack pack that was free for us high-falootin folk up front! The snack pack consisted of crackers, a soft cheese and some salami. A bit of an odd breakfast, but it was actually really good! We had tons of time to make it to our connecting flight because our plane coming in from La Guardia was late. (sorry if that's spelled wrong!). We had more of a choice of food on this one, so I got a spicy salami sandwich, a fruit assortment and a really nice blueberry crumble dessert. I also had a beer, which for me is really odd to have in the morning, but meh, I'm on vacation!

We had cloud cover the entire flight and it was pretty grey when we landed in Orlando. It rained a lot on our way to Pop, but pretty much tapered off after we arrived.

:)Checkin was a breeze since I had done the online part first. We got the section we wanted, our room is so close to everything! We got everything settled and then walked right onto the bus that was ready and waiting to take us to MK! There a lot of people streaming out of the park but of course, a ton also going in. We noticed that our first fastpass to the Jungle Cruise had changed and gave us a 7 hour window to use at one of 8 different rides. We didn't want to wait an hour for Haunted Mansion so decided on that. We went on Pirates first, then got Dole Whips and wandered over. I'm actually going to continue this in the morning because I think the long day has finally caught up with me. :)

I somehow had booked our BoG supper at the same time as our 7dmt fastpass, but they said to just go on the ride and they would hold the reservation for us! That ride is just one of the best, I think we have 5 toal fastpasses for it this trip! We've never done supper at BoG before. I had the steak with fries and Tammy had the braised pork. We both loved it! We were running out of time because Wishes was about to start, so we got a Grey Stuff dessert to go. After Wishes, we were pretty much wiped out, so we headed off back to Pop. I'd have to say that the crowds were definitely not as bad as we had feared. Yeah, some of the lines were awful during the peak part of the day, but the wait times really went down towards evening!

We're off to a late start today, heading to AK now. :)

Aw, they don't serve the potatoes with the omelet anymore. Loved those, but at least the omelet is a "create your own" now. The food court here is crazy busy, these people should all be at the park by now!

Actually, because they can't premake the omelets now, this line is taking forever. Think we'll be skipping this option in the future.

So we're finally on our way to Animal Kingdom. Parks almost going to close before we get there! Lots of people on the bus with us though. We have fast passes to EE, Festival of the Lion King and the safari, with supper at Tusker House. I love trying as much as possible there, but Tammy could cheerfully eat from the kids section.

I think the fast pass line for the safari is longer than I've ever even seen the regular line! I was able to get on Everest within 5 minutes though. Tammy skipped Everest because she gets motion sickness sometimes and doesn't have an thing to take. Love the music here!

Waiting in the fast pass area for FotLK, we saw this poor woman come out of the exit from the shoe, where she fainted and started having a seizure. We were all backed up around the corner, so I don't know what ended up happening with her. Hope she's OK!

It's been a good day so far, lots of close up giraffe pictures, we saw a large bird attack one of the gazelles on the Pangani Trail, had a frozen coke or two. Those birds were funny, they lined up like they were a parade and marched straight through the pack of gazelles that were lying down. As one of them passed through, it just lunged at the poor gazelle, who as far as I could tell was just trying to have a nap! We did the Majaraja Trek, but the Tigers were lying in the shade behind a large rock where we really couldn't see them. The monkeys gave a great show in the area with the towers near Kali. One of them had a branch full of leaves and they kept stealing from each other and eating a few leaves each time!

We're waiting to be called for our Tusker House reservation now and I think we're going to be heading to Disney Springs after this. :)

Supper was great as usual! It was absolutely pouring when we left Tusker House, so we did a bit of shopping. I got a new shirt and some centipede gummis (which have Timone's picture on them naturally) and Tammy got 3 park exclusive Pandora charms. They were the Sorcerers Hat, Pooh and one that has Mickey body parts on it. We caught a bus to Carribean Beach and then transferred to the Disney Springs bus. I thought you could go directly to DS from the parks, but I guess not.

By the way, when I get home I will be uploading a ton of pictures tof match what we've done. I think we have a few hundred already on day 2.

There was just an announcement on the bus about Tammys birthday so most of the bus sang happy birthday to her! Then a bunch of them noticed it was someone else's birthday too, so they sang it again! :rotfl:
