I was shocked when my fiance told me this. Most insurance companies (according to my fiance anyway) are putting off the need to pay for things like car insurance for three months for the victims of Katrina.
Except for his car insurance company. They refuse to allow more than a month and the time is already up because he needed it last month after his visit to Canada.
He may lose his car because the stupid company isn't willing to put off the payments for a little while to allow him to get a job. Its not like he just ticked off his boss or anything.
He lost EVERYTHING in this. It was a huge natural disaster.
I don't know what to tell him. I'd tell him to find a different company but I'm not sure how that works in the US or the impact it might have.
