I want to be first in line for the Maelstrom (sp)? (Norway) in Epcot. I will be staying at Beach Club Villas from August 3-7 and then from the 7-13 and Old Key West. Would it be easier to try and be first entering from the international gateway while I am at BCV or wait until we visit again from the main entrance since WS opens later than the rest of the park? If anyone has done this before your help would be appreciated.

Do you want to be the first on the boat to sit up front? I've stayed at the BC and the access into Epcot is much easier than through the main gate. Less lines at security. However, since WS opens later than rest of the park you'll need to run fast to get there. Good luck!!

You can enter at International Gateway before the 11am WS opening, but you will be funneled around to Future World. In any event, as long as you are in Epcot and at World Showcase Plaza by 11am when WS opens, you should have a walk-on at Maelstrom... is there any particular reason that you want to be "first in line"?

Another way to get to Norway early is to make PS for the "Princess Storybook" Breakfast at the Akershus. You will be allowed to enter WS before it officially opens, you'll have a really great breakfast & be first in line for the Maelstrom! Unless someone else who reads this does it first.
