I'm on the phone with DH. He has called me from Downtown Disney. He's supposed to be in Orlando on a BUSINESS trip! He can't decide where he wants to eat. I feel soooooo sorry for him.

At least he called from a store. He better be buying me something!

dh got to take a business trip to disneyland in november...on our anniversary!!!!! and of course, i couldn't get the time off to go with him.

My DH did this to me last Dec. He was in the area on a business trip for 2 weeks; had the weekend off, a free Military salute ticket, so he went to the World for 2 1/2 days. The only reason we didn't separate and divorce is cause I got to go for 6 days in October with just my Mom. It was kind of fun living vicariously through him- he would hold the phone out on rides and at the parades. He brought back plenty of Christmas presents to make up for me not being able to go.

The worst part about his solo trip? He hated touring alone and doesn't really want to go back to Disney any time soon. I'm usually his Miss Disney Tour Guide and he said he felt lost the whole time and just out of place. Sigh.

Yup. My DH had the nerve to ask me "Why aren't you here with me?" Now's the time to ask? Seriously, this trip came up very last minute, and it's only for two days. But if we thought it through, I could have asked my parents to stay with the kids for a couple of days, we could have gotten a room on site, and I would have been happy to hang around the hotel all day today. Oh well.

I've been very lucky to go on some nice get-aways with DH because of his job. It's a lot harder now with kids and dogs.
