So, I just called to make my ADRs for Oct 27th-Nov 2nd. I guess I should have done it earlier in the day because even though I called on my 180 opening window I'm having problems getting the ADRs I want. I specifically am having trouble with booking 8 adults at the Brown Derby on Nov. 2nd. They cannot get me into the restaurant at ANY time on that day. The 180 day window has not even opened for non-resorts guests!!! Do you think I just got a clueless cast member, and that I should try back? I just find it absurd that I can't get in even calling 180 days +5. I could understand if maybe it was Cinderella's Royal Table, then I would have been on the phone right at 7am, but the Brown Derby? If Disney Dining is going to continue to be this impossible, my kitchen at the DVC villas is going to see alot of action!

I would try again and hopefully get a different CM. The brown derby doesn't usually get that filled that quickly (especially since it's a 2-TS on the dining plan).

Have you tried getting two tables for four, instead of one table for eight people? Might be easier than one table for eight.

Did you ask for the fantasmic package for Brown Derby?? There are limited tables that seat for a party of 8 and if it was for the Fantasmic package there is also a 2 hour window for booking the restaurant and show. FYI also, we are opened from 7-10 est. Although it may be your 180th day until arrival, it is probably many many other guests arrival time too. We have no down time for dining reservations and we do try to do our best to accomidate all our guests wishes. I would try and call back and possibly see about getting your party split into 2 tables.

Try again at exactly the 180 day mark. I think they will open up more tables at that time. Good luck!
