In June I am taking 6 grands to WDW, ages 9 to 22. I am buying water, snacks, PB&J, yogurt, fruit, and breakfast stuff for the room. I have planned 1 meal per day that I will pay for at a sit down restaurant. I have ADRs for BoG, Tusker, Biergarten, Hoop De Doo, Prime Time, Kona and 2 restaurants at Universal. Most are lunches. I am also springing for wands at gringotts.
Now I plan to give each older child 75$per day to cover the rest of the meals and snacks for the day. Anything they don't spend on food they can keep for souvenirs at the end of trip. I figure the older kids will have their own plans and I will see them at 1 meal per day and perhaps at the pool.
Is this enough money? I expect most of their choices will be counter service. Thanks in advance.
