Is this crazy or does it make sense on some level?

This was the year we were going to focus on Universal Studios and do Disney in a limited way. I am not a thrill ride junkie like the my DH and teenage boys and I planned to buy an annual pass and do WDW after the first two days while they continued at Universal. They all said they just wanted a two day passes to WDW and that I what I bought them.

I booked a package deal (airfare and 2 bedroom suite) through skyauction.com. The whole thing was about what we'd have payed for air alone. It is unchangeable and non-refundable.

Then Disney announced the free dining program with a room and one day passes. Yes, it is true...I booked it. Five days at POFQ for the cost of a little more than we would have spent on food and an extra day at WDW.

I am excited about having a place on property to go during the day and use the pool, take a nap or just relax. I am looking forward to be able to eat at some of my favorite places and not worry about the cost.

Does this sound reasonable to anyone or am I beyond help? :confused3

Since the original package you bought includes airfare and was cheaper than the airfare you found on your own, I don't think it is crazy to consider booking another package w/WDW.

Personally, I would have preferred to stay with my family and save the money.

But it's your money. If that's what works for you, that's what works for you! Go and enjoy.
