Can i mention or reference other disney fan forums? I use another forum and its against the rules to mention other forums. Whats the rule here?

I mainly just want to find other forums to read.

I just read a thread on this the other day, and many people chimmed in. A couple of the mod's finally just said that as long as it is not a hostile approach to the DIS then it was fine. But (and I am trying to go off memory here so bare with me if I mis quote a lil) they would prefer that you not discus those that require a form of payment in order to join.
This did not include TGM as it is a online touring guide. Hope that helps.

I dont know too many sites thats why I want to talk about it.

The main site I look at is micechat. Which also has a partner site miceage which has good articles. I like that site because it is very Disneyland centric since that is where we have APs and mainly go.

I also look at mouseplanet. and now here.

If anyone knows any other good posting sites Id love to hear about them.

Hi!

Generally the only sites that are not allowed to be mentioned are ones that have caused some problems here in the past, like spamming the boards with advertisements. If you type out the name of another board, or anything else and when you post it comes up as ***********, that means it is filtered because it is not welcome to me mentioned. If you try to go around that filter by retyping it in another way then we would have to delete your post and probably issue you and infraction.

So for instance let's pretend that Disney was a filtered word. When you typed it and posted it it would look like this: ****** If you edited and wrote D I S N E Y or "it starts with D and rhymes with MISNEY" then those would be considered a filter violation. Make sense?

Also remember that a lot of information you can find on those sites can also be found here at wdwinfo.com . A lot of people come directly here to the DISboards and forget that we have an extensive information site also. We do prefer you look for the information here if you are posting to help someone out, before going to another source. (and I agree that I love allears as another source! Mousesavers is also one of my favorites)
