Is this a good Hertz rate?

Ok.....I just booked Hertz for 3/2-3/11. I booked an intermediate class car and will receive a 1 car class upgrade when I get there. I have $150 in Hertz vouchers to use. They quoted me a total of $273 out the door. So I will be left with about $125 out-of-pocket. Is there a better Hertz deal out there? How does this one sound???

Are you a AAA member? You can get a pretty nice discount with their code.

I'd like to know if you had any special code? I am going Feb. 2-12 and have a full size for $370. That is a AAA rate and gold card.

Have you looked on Mousesavers for codes? Also check the Hertz site or AAA. There are usually codes that offer a one class upgrade that sometimes lowers your rate.

FRDM in the rate code box sometimes also lowers your rate. If you are a frequent flyer member of the airlines also offer discounts or upgrades at Hertz.

Be sure to check and see if using a code raises your rate before it lowers it. So check the rates without using any codes or discounts they try them one at a time to see what it does to your base rate before the coupon. Sometimes free is not always free in the world of car rentals.
