Is there such a thing as evening hours tickets?

dh has conference mid June in Orlando and I'm tagging along. We aren't planning to do parks bc he will be working all day but DH swears he remembers seeing something for twilight tickets, where it was less money to enter a park after say 4pm. I told him he's crazy. So who's right? Is there such a thing as evenings only tickets?

Yes, but they are only available to conventions.

...Yes, he's right. It's not a huge savings, but if you can only go after 4 pm anyway, and plan to go, then you may as well take advantage of the discount.

For specific conventions, through the convention not normal ticket sales outlets

I think epcot also has an ongoing after four pass ... It may be an annua thing and may be just for Florida residents - not sure since it wouldn't be something I could use...

Thank you everyone. His conference isn't at Disney but I will call and see if we are eligible.

We are doing the same thing in October and the meeting is at a non-Disney hotel. From everything I've read and seen on the above linked Disney site, there are tickets avail for after 2 and after 4 and even full day discounts. Somewhere there was a list of local convention hotels that qualify and ours does - the Orlando World Center Marriott. I still need to call and ask more questions though.

One reason I'm not wanting to wait until we are at the actual convention to buy the tix is that I want to book FP+ ahead of time. From what I've read it should be possible to do that with convention tickets.

I recently tagged along to a conference at a Disney hotel (should be the same for an eligible offsite hotel). I was able to buy a convention rate 2 day park hopper in advance and book FP+. It worked out great!

Forgot to add - if you buy a multi-day convention ticket, you get a bonus Water Park & More visit as well!

When my hubby had a conference a few years ago, he went to Epcot for an evening. He definitely bought an evening discounted ticket and he bought it at the gate (it was pre-FP+ so not needed in advance). I'm pretty sure that was only available at epcot ( an evening hours ticket for the general public. Even though he was at a conference at the Swan, the ticket wasn't through the conference in any way)
