When we stayed at the Poly a few years ago we paid a flat fee (I think it was $169) for unlimited watercraft rentals from the marina (mouseboats, pontoons). Do they still offer this deal? If so, can we do it from the Fort Wilderness campgrounds? Thanks!

Yes... Here are the 2 plans, pricing and what they include :)

Family Plan- $249 plus tax (non-refundable) - Includes use of boats for up to 5 Guests for 10 calendar days. This offer is valid only for registered WDW Resort Guests. Boats are available on a first come, first serve basis. Boats included in this offer must be rented from the Fort Wilderness Marina only. Please call or visit the Fort Wilderness Marina for further details. Other restrictions may apply. (Cruises and excursions are not included.)

Captain's Plan- $130 plus tax (non-refundable) - 4 hours of rentals (any combination) of boats. This offer is available to all Guests, and boats included in this offer must be rented from the Fort Wilderness Marina only. Boats are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please call or visit the Fort Wilderness Marina for further details. Other restrictions may apply. (Cruises and excursions are not included.)

Yes. We stayed at the Poly and had the captains plan. I think all of the resorts that have watercraft have the same packages, but you can only use the boats at the resort in which you are staying.

Have fun. My 3 DSs loved the watercrafts!

Would we be able to do this even though we are staying off site? Does the Captain's plan include your whole family for 4 hours or is that pp? Also, what kind of boats are available? Thanks if anyone can help, this might be something new we can try this year!

Are you sure about this? I was under the impression you could buy a plan at any of the resorts that offer them. It would certainly be more convenient to have a plan where you're staying, but I did not think that was your only option.

You can "buy" the plan from any resort that rents the boats BUT... if you purchase the "plan" you can only use the boats from the Marina that you purchased the plan from. You don't have to be staying "at" the hotel that you purchased it from but you could not purchase the plan from the Grand Floridian and use it at the Yacht Club. You would only be able to use it at the Grand Floridian.

Franne Anyone can purchase the "Captain's Plan"...onsite or offsite guests, it does not matter. Only WDW resort guests can purchase the "Family Plan"/
