Is there anyway to get NICK HOTEL cheaper than $300+ in JULY??

Man I thought it would be awesome to surprise the kids with the NICK HOTEL but not for more than $300. We need somewhere to stay for one night before we go to WDW. Any tips? THANKS

On the web site it was saying $325 or something like that. I called and got that same quote. I was about to give up, when I asked about the AAA rate. I was then told $292 (still a lot for me, I paid $210 a night the same dates last year). I mentioned that to her and she gave me a rate of $244 because I was a returning guest. So try calling in with those. She did look up my address in the computer (that or my phone number) and that showed I was there last year, so ask about that and AAA. Good Luck

Make sure you will have enough time to take advantage of the amentites. If you are just going to have a few hours, it isn't worth it, in my opinion. We just stayed there for 4 nights/5 days. It is a distination onto itself.

I had the same problem with my May 6 reservation. It was in the high high $200's. I checked everyday and finally they went down a couple of weeks ago to $210. I would keep checking every day.

What days are you checking? I was looking for July 6-9 and I think it was around $245.

That's certainly true. Some friends of ours booked a stay there intending to spend a couple days at Universal, and a day at Sea World. They never left the Nick.

The place does seem pricey to me though. If I'm paying 300+/night in July, I'd rather it be at the Poly.

We just got back from our third trip to the NIck since last spring break! LOVE the place! We started out with 325 a night for last week...and ended up at 224...kept checking and checking and checking. The bounce back rate is 25 percent off if you have stayed there before. AAA rate was cheaper for me at 224. It really is a destination in itself and you wont want to leave the property while you are there...free shows all day poolside and all night indoors followed up with Karaoke and a GREAT game room. Super fun time...cant wait to return!

I booked 4 nights @ 125 a night. This rate is weekdays only this fall.
