Is there anything that i should know about booking a flight through Priceline?

I just found an amazing price for a flight to Orlando through Priceline. I usually book directly on the airline website, but the Priceline price is significantly lower. Is there anything that I should know/be aware of when booking through Priceline? It just seems to good to be true.

Does it have the time of the flight? I've heard Priceline gives low prices by giving poor flight times.

Just something to look out for.

Is this a name your own price that booking are a regular booking?


If it shows you the flights and times the only real thing to be aware of is that if the airline makes changes you don't get to deal with them, you get to call Priceline

The other thing that may very well happen is when you actually hit buy you will get a completely different fare. So check the amount you're paying at each step carefully. Some of the sites do not do real-time checking but give you a fare they found whenever they checked last

It's a regular booking. I can see the the flight times/details. So I guess it should be fine?

Call the airline. See if they'll price match.

If the airline won't match the price on Priceline, go ahead and book. I've used them loads of times with no issue, for cars as well as flights. Not for name your own, just the regular site.

This has been my experience...every single time. I no longer even look there.
